Meagan Good ready to have children

Meagan Good is "definitely" ready to have children. The 43-year-old actress married Jonathan Majors - who has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship - in March after two years of dating and they are now planning to add to their family, with the I'll Never Let You Go actress knowing she's picked a "phenomenal" person to have kids with. She told Us Weekly magazine: 'I definitely am ready to have kids now. 'And then, my partner [is] someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already, but now we can do it together. 'Two [children] would be good. We got four dogs already. So, we got four Belgian Malinois, and they are the hyperest dogs of life, but the house is very safe.' Meagan admitted her role on Harlem has helped her realise she wanted to have children and be a mom. She explained: 'I know that there's a lot of similarities to Camille's journey and to Meagan's journey because I always knew that I wanted to be a mother. 'But I'd have to ask myself, 'Is that because I felt like I should want that?' And then there were times where I wasn't sure, and I was like, 'Am I pushing back against it because I don't like people telling me what I'm supposed to want?' I think that, during the course of the show, being able to say out loud that Camille doesn't want kids — because it's such a taboo thing to say — and everyone always goes, 'Well, what's wrong with you?' 'It's, like, 'No, some people just don't want to,' and to be able to explore that with her, and then ultimately for her to be the one to get pregnant and be able to explore that journey. … Some people, maybe they just don't want to. For other people, maybe there is something you're afraid of, maybe there is something you've experienced, maybe there is something that's holding you back, and all of those things, nothing can be wrong. All these things are just a part of our journey. "'It definitely made me excited to go, 'OK, now that I've explored and unpacked so much through my character in more ways than one, now I get to go, 'Yeah, I think this actually makes me super ready.' " Meagan praised married life with Jonathan as "super amazing". She gushed: 'I'm just really happy. He's very silly. He always falls asleep in the middle of movies. I love doing adventures with him. If I'm like, 'Let's just go try this. Let's go do that.' He's like, 'All right, let's go.' We're just both in it, like, two little kids who can't believe we're allowed to do what we want to do.'

10 of the best restaurants in Borough Market and London Bridge, from Agora to Kolae

Much fuss was made over Camille when it opened in 2024. Everybody clamoured for a table at the bistro where the food was French but fun and which – separating itself slightly from what was becoming tedious – employed the services of chefs who had to guile to place a sliver of lovely smoked eel on the egg mayonnaise. Fast-forward to today and the eggs have gone but the candles haven't. Nor has the enjoyableness of it all. Dishes such as crab pissaladiere are almost as charming, while tomato tatin is a savvy way to use lesser tomatoes. Camille is as much about the vibes as the food. Go if you have a hot date or if someone else is paying. Or, ideally, those two things at the same time.

Mobile couple, granddaughter still missing after Texas flood. Daughter-in-law's body found

A Mobile, Ala. couple and their five-year-old granddaughter remain missing after catastrophic flooding swept through a Texas campground over the early morning hours of July 4. Ileana and Eddie Santana Sr., their son Eddie Santana Jr., his wife Camille and their daughter Mila Rose were staying at the HTR TC Hill Country Campground in Kerrville, Texas, when their cabin was swept away by rapidly rising floodwaters. The Guadalupe River, which borders the campground, rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes. Santana Jr., who is reported by a fundraising link to be an active-duty member of the military, managed to escape the flood waters after being sucked in by climbing onto a tree, where he held on for hours before being rescued. He was hospitalized with head and side lacerations and released on July 6. It was reported that when he was in the hospital, he was notified that his wife, daughters and parents were still missing. Camille Santana's body recovered, sister confirms in Facebook post On July 8, search crews recovered Camille's body. Her sister, Kali, confirmed the news in a Facebook post. Camille Prats to focus on family, take break from teleseryes as she signs off from 'Mommy Dearest'

Camille Prats has signed off as her character, Olive, in "Mommy Dearest" and now plans to take a break from doing teleseryes so she can focus on her family. On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared several photos of herself with her co-stars and crew while on the set of the show. "When GMA offered me this role, it wasn't a difficult decision to make. What I didn't realize was how much I had been longing—as an actress—to take on a character different from the ones I usually portray: the kind-hearted, often oppressed protagonist," she wrote. According to Camille, Olive's character revitalized her passion for acting and allowed her to discover her creativity differently. In her heartfelt post, she extended her gratitude to directors Ralfh Malabunga and Gina Alajar, her co-stars, and crew, as well as the creatives who have been part of the show. She also thanked GMA Network, writing, "Thank you for entrusting me with the roles of Olive and Jade, and for believing that I am the right fit for the role." Per Camille, "Mommy Dearest" is special to her now that she has decided to step away from teleseryes for the meantime. "This project is especially close to my heart as I've decided to take a break from doing seryes for now, to devote more time to my growing children and family. Turns out, hindi ko pala kayang hatiin ang katawan ko," she wrote. She added that while she's grateful for the support the show has received, her priority is to be a wife and mom first. "Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. Hanggang sa muli. Olive Caparas, signing off." In "Mommy Dearest," Camille played the role of twin sisters Olive and Jade Caparas. The series follows the life of Mookie (Shayne Sava) who tries to navigate life despite her serious illnesses since childhood. However, her overprotective mother Olive (Camille) refrains her from going out and discovering the world, making Mookie seem like a prisoner in their own home. Also part of the show are Katrina Halili, Amy Austria, Winwyn Marquez, and Dion Ignacio, among others. "Mommy Dearest" is now on its finale week. It airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
