Chris Martin playfully issues warning to crowd days after Astronomer kiss cam dr
Chris Martin has seemingly been scarred by the Astronomer kiss cam controversy as he offered a playful PSA at a recent Coldplay gig.
Tech CEO Andy Byron has been accused of having an affair with head of HR Kristin Cabot after the pair appeared to be caught off guard with their arms wrapped around each other at the band's Boston show.
At the time, Martin joked with the crowd: 'Oh look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they're just really shy.'
The clip was shared online and quickly went viral with internet sleuths quickly working out who the pair were, claiming they are not a couple, and Byron is actually married to Megan Kerrigan Byron.
Following the incident, Martin made sure to let audiences at the band's Madison show at Camp Randall Stadium know well in advance that they would appear on the big screen.
'We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen,' he said in a video shared online.
'How we're going to do that is we're going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.
'Please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now.'
The band played it safe by panning over the crowd rather than focusing on any couples.
Fans have been quick to talk about the mock warning online, branding Martin 'so unserious' and joking he is 'traumatised' from the event.

'The whole world is kiki-ing together due to the scandal. I love this band. They unite people 😝,' Jen added.
Jenny_Sparksjoy pointed out: 'I love the way he handled it. His smiles and laughter and the way introducing the Jumbotron saying it all, but being professional enough to not mention a single world about what happened.'
It comes days after Byron resigned from Astronomer in the fallout from the kiss cam incident.
An official statement from the company on LinkedIn says: 'As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding.
'Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.
'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. More Trending
'The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.'
On Friday, the company put out an official statement on LinkedIn about the video, saying: 'Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.
'The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly.'
They also confirmed earlier in the week that Byron has not released any statement and reports suggesting otherwise 'are all incorrect'.
