Famous singer's teeth fall out mid-performance as panicked star dashes off stage

Pop sensation LeAnn Rimes has shared a hair-raising tale of the moment her teeth fell out during a live performance. LeAnn took to social media to regale her fans with "a little story" about the onstage mishap that left her in a state of panic. Now 42, the singer who once dislocated her jaw mid-concert in 2014, recounted to her Instagram followers how her dental bridge 'popped out' while performing at the Skagit Valley Casino and Resort in Bow, Washington. Describing the ordeal as "the most epic example of how the show must go on" she uploaded a video saying: "We're going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on." LeAnn narrated the dramatic incident: "So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.", reports the Mirror. The 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' star then explained how she momentarily panicked and asked the audience to "hold on" before dashing offstage. "I ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, like popped it back in," she said, revealing that she carried on with the show as if nothing happened. LeAnn concluded by saying she had to be upfront with her audience about the situation to avoid having to leave the stage: "I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage. "And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing." She quipped that although there are few career firsts left for her, this teeth mishap certainly topped the list, adding, "And hopefully a last," and expressing hope that her pearly whites would stay put for the night, "I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see." She warned the audience with a laugh, "The front row, get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them please return them." She also mused that by sharing her embarrassing incident, other artists might feel empowered to soldier on, knowing that "the show can go on in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment". Fans showed their appreciation for her honesty, with one commenting: "That's FLOW. You are amazing. As I say constantly. Real. Authentic. Super." Another playfully admitted: "Lmaooo. I wish i was there for this moment," accompanied by a crying with laughter emoji. And one shared their sympathies, recounting a similar personal disaster: "That's nuts ! I had a crown crack off once. Thank god I wasn't at a gig. I would have called for the stretcher and an ice pack .. maybe some deep heat !". Grey's Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw even chimed in, praising her resilience: "Love you even more for this. The show on! !".
