Jessica Alba's mystery man revealed to be ‘Captain America' star as they return from Cancún getaway

Jessica Alba's mystery man has been identified. The actress was photographed with 'Captain America' star Danny Ramirez as the duo headed from Cancún, Mexico, to Los Angeles on Sunday. TMZ named the actor the following day. The 32-year-old kept a low profile while navigating the airport alongside the Honest Company founder, 44, over the weekend, with both wearing baseball caps. The pair refrained from engaging in any PDA during the outing. Reps for Alba and Ramirez did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment. The pair initially sparked romance speculation in May when Alba was spotted holding hands with a man at a park in London. 'DANNY RAMIREZ AND JESSICA ALBA?!?!?!?' one fan wrote via X (per The News). 'I mean, the article said mystery man. But it could be, lol.' Other social media users supported the guess, while one argued that Ramirez had shorter hair than the man in question. Although Alba was reportedly not 'seeing anyone specific,' she congratulated Ramirez on his 'Avenger: Doomsday' role via Instagram in March. She reposted the announcement to her Story, tagging the 'Top Gun' star and adding multiple exclamation points. At the time, Alba was newly navigating her breakup from her husband of 17 years, Cash Warren. The Golden Globe nominee filed for divorce in February, one month after news broke of their separation — which Alba confirmed in an Instagram statement. 'We … will forever be a family. Our children remain our highest priority,' she wrote in January, referencing daughter Honor, 17, daughter Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7. The 'Dark Angel' alum had hinted at her and Warren's relationship struggles before, admitting in 2021 that they were like 'roommates … going through the motions' and 'checking boxes.' Alba and Warren, who tied the knot in May 2008 in a Beverly Hills, Calif., courthouse, have remained amicable post-split. The exes even spent Easter together in April, and Alba publicly wished the producer a happy Father's Day last month. She and Warren have requested joint custody of their children.

People Have Just 1 Word To Say To Ted Cruz After He Was Spotted On A European Vacation During Texas's Devastating Floods

No, that isn't a four-year-old headline. If I may jog your memory, back in February 2021, Texas and other parts of the Central and Southern United States experienced a massive winter storm that knocked out power plants and left residents without heat or electricity for several days. Hundreds of people were killed. Related: As the state quite literally froze over and his constituents went without basic necessities, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and his family booked a flight to Cancún, Mexico, and stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. The New York Times reported that in a group text with friends and neighbors, Cruz's wife, Heidi, revealed she wanted to escape their "FREEZING" house. Sen. Cruz stated he went to Mexico "to be a good dad" but later told reporters he had "second thoughts" on the plane to Cancún and that the trip was "obviously a mistake." He flew back one day after his departure amid public outcry about his absence from Texas. Here he is at the Cancún airport to board a flight home: Now, it's 2025, and the weather just keeps intensifying. Texas just experienced another devastating natural disaster with severe flooding over the Fourth of July weekend. And Ted Cruz home. Related: The Daily Beast reported that Cruz, who has served Texas in the US Senate since 2013, was sightseeing in Athens, Greece, when the flooding began. To be completely fair, he was already out of the country this time, but the outlet stated that he was still sightseeing with his wife a full day after 20 girls were reported missing from a summer camp in hard-hit Kerr County. Cruz's office stated that he returned to Texas "as fast as humanly possible," but the Daily Beast reported that he could have boarded many flights before the one he eventually took on Sunday. Over on r/politics, user OtmShanks55 posted an article from the New Republic about Cruz's absence, and people cut right to the jokes. The original poster called Cruz a "banana slug" and said they thought the "headline was a joke." Related: Someone joked that this is the "Ted Cruz Weather Warning System" at work... ...and someone replied that with the way things are going, we might actually have to rely on that pretty soon. Someone asked, "Is that guy always on vacation?" Others criticized his delay in returning home. There were name puns. Related: Lots of them. This person cut him a LITTLE slack, but wondered why Cruz would be out of town for the Fourth of July in the first place. And finally, most people just have one little word to say: What do you think? Sound off in the comments. Also in In the News: Also in In the News: Also in In the News:

Knicks keep season alive with another Jalen Brunson playoff gem in Game 5 win

Cancún can wait. The Knicks aren't ready for the offseason just yet. They kept their slim NBA Finals hopes alive with their most complete performance of the Eastern Conference finals. It defended well, limited the Pacers in transition and hammered them in the paint, sending this series back to Indiana for Game 6 on Saturday night with a thorough, wire-to-wire 111-94 victory at the Garden. Jalen Brunson owned the first and third quarters, Karl-Anthony Towns was dominant in the second and effective in the fourth, and everyone else did their part as the Knicks extended the series in emphatic fashion. Jason Szenes for the NY Post 'Knicks in seven!' chants began late in the fourth quarter, with the contest well in hand. Knicks fans can at least dream of a Game 7 back at MSG on Monday night. Advertisement 'It's a testament to our team answering the call. I think tonight we did that,' Towns said. 'But we are going to have to be even better next game if we want our season to continue.' Tyrese Haliburton attempts a shot during the Knicks' Game 5 win against the Pacers on May 29. Jason Szenes for the NY Post This marked the first game of the series in which the Knicks were really able to slow the Pacers for an entire game. On Tuesday, Tyrese Haliburton obliterated them and Indiana exploded for 130 points. But two nights later, Haliburton was an afterthought, held without a field goal in the first half and limited to eight points, six assists and a minus-23 on the floor. '[Mikal Bridges] did a great job today trying to be physical, trying to be on his body and not give him anything easy,' Josh Hart said. 'I think we didn't have any plays where we had a miscommunication or left him open for three, which I feel like we did a couple times last game.' Towns added 24 points and 13 rebounds, and was a game-high plus-26. The margin was 11 at the half, the Pacers held to 37.5 percent shooting. 'We have to try to replicate the first quarter next game,' Brunson said. Karl-Anthony Towns gets defeated by the Pacers during the Knicks' Game 5 win. Jason Szenes for the NY Post The Knicks' stifling defense continued into the third quarter, the period that doomed them in Game 4. Advertisement They scored 16 of the first 23 points of the quarter to build a 20-point cushion. Brunson scored 10 of those points, and on consecutive possessions Robinson scored on a follow and blocked Haliburton on a drive. The Pacers responded by getting within 10 only for the Knicks to punch back immediately with a 10-0 burst of their own. Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner and New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson reach for a rebound during the first quarter. Jason Szenes / New York Post It was a 17-point lead after three quarters, and the Eastern Conference finals would soon be headed back to Indianapolis. 'With this series, we haven't been able to close out games the way we've wanted to, we haven't been able to show how special we are,' Towns said. 'We've had moments of brilliance, but we haven't had games of brilliance. I think tonight was a good testament to when we're locked in playing 48 minutes, we could show the world how special we really are.'
