Massive swarm of bees delay deplaning as firefighters called
They wanted to join the mile hive club. A flight in India was delayed for more than an hour after bees swarmed the door of the aircraft, as seen in buzzy footage taking off online. The un-bee-lievable incident occurred Monday morning on an Indigo flight that was slated to fly from Surat to Jaipur at 4:20 a.m., India Today reported. Advertisement Baggage handlers were reportedly loading suitcases onto the aircraft when all of a sudden, it was bombarded by a biblical plague of stinging insects. 'IndiGo Flight 6E-784 Surat-Jaipur was delayed due to a bee incident, which is something not under our control, so the flight departed post clearance,' an airline spokesperson said. 'Standard protocols were followed.' Jam Press/TIM Wild footage shows the pollen collectors congregating on the open cargo door like something out of the 1992 horror movie 'Candyman.' Advertisement As a result, the aircraft was ordered to remain on the ground until the buzzkills were dealt with. The fire brigade arrived and attempted to drive the bees away with water. Jam Press/TIM Airport authorities initially tried to use smoke to disperse the swarm — a traditional technique used by honey harvesters in India and elsewhere — but to no avail. Advertisement They then enlisted the fire brigade, which sprayed water on the bee ball. However, that only attracted more bugs, creating panic among airport staffers. Finally, after dousing the interlopers with both smoke and water, crews were finally able to drive the colony away sans any injuries or damage to the aircraft. The plane was finally able to put its wheels up for Jaipur at 5:26 am — over an hour after the airplane was colonized. 'Standard protocols were followed.' This isn't the first time a flight has been waylaid by bees. Last year, passengers at a Brazilian airport were left stranded on the tarmac for more than an hour on Monday after a swarm of bees covered the wing of their plane.

EXCLUSIVE Candyman doesn't look like this anymore! Playboy tobacco tycoon's shock new life and appearance revealed after he went 'missing'
Travers 'Candyman' Beynon has re-emerged after vanishing off social media amid a multimillion-dollar legal stoush. The notorious Gold Coast 'tobacco tycoon' had deleted his Instagram account, which used to entice over a million followers to fawn over his luxe parties and high-end living. Amid his social media absence, Travers was spotted at a park on the Gold Coast on Wednesday looking almost unrecognisable. Followers are used to seeing Travers shirtless and surrounded by a bevy of bikini-clad beauties at his lavish Candy Shop Mansion. But it appears he has now traded in his playboy lifestyle for that of a family man. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The notorious Gold Coast 'tobacco tycoon' recently deleted his Instagram account, which used to entice over a million followers to fawn over posts of luxe parties and high-end living The 53-year-old was seen in the company of wife Taesha and two of his five children. Travers shares Velicia, 12, Serafina, 11, and Santiago, one, with Taesha, and has two other children – Valentino, 24, and Luciana, 22 – from his previous marriage to Ninibeth Leal. He appeared very much in doting dad mode as he accompanied his brood to a local swim school. Travers cut quite the dapper figure in a light grey three-piece suit. He also wore a crisp white shirt and a burgundy tie with a silver clip, bringing the look together with a white pocket square. Travers finished his ensemble with a pair of black patent leather shoes and black sunglasses. The father of five, who once sported a thick head of brunette locks, appears to have started thinning. His wife Taesha, meanwhile, cut a much more casual figure in a black hooded sweatshirt and a pair of form-fitting black leggings. She finished her look with a pair of hot pink slides and appeared preoccupied with setting up a pram for her youngest while Travers looked on. While Travers didn't appear to be that helpful as his wife juggled the load, he looked chuffed to be in family company, beaming as he tenderly reached out to stroke the little one's head. The sighting comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that Travers had split from his 'main' polyamorous girlfriend Nisha Downes. Nisha confirmed that she has traded in her old life of wild parties, designer shopping sprees and sex for a more conventional relationship and way of living. 'I was 19 when I moved in [to his 'Candy Shop Mansion'] and when I turned 27 I wondered if [the relationship] was what I really wanted,' she admitted. 'I started thinking about my life and how long did I really want to do this for. Stuff like, "if we did have kids would I be comfortable in that dynamic, forever?"' This December marks three years since she farewelled the gaudy home and opulent estate in Helensvale for 'a new life'. 'Nothing hectic happened… in the end,' she said. 'I just felt being with one person would be a bit more intimate.' Still living on the Gold Coast, Nisha has traded in her string bikini for corporate attire - working as a development manager in the construction industry. Aside from his social media absence, it's apparently a similar story for the Beynon family tobacco empire, with the main FreeChoice Tobacco site also currently offline. While its franchise stores are still operating, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported that FreeChoice vacated its Gold Coast head office in February, with the space, owned by one of Beynon's companies, now leased to a new business. The publication also reported in June that Travers was being sued by his stepfather Trevor in an explosive multimillion-dollar legal stoush. Trevor Beynon, 79, is the founder of the Free Choice tobacco store empire, and was married to Travers' mother, Sandra, when the couple founded the cigarette chain. Now, according to court documents, Trevor is alleging that Travers used 'sham' documents in an effort to gain more control over the group's assets - which is at odds with what Trevor intended in his will. Trevor ceased his role as director of two 'key' Free Choice companies in March, and court documents indicate he is now alleging that he was removed from the position against his will. It was also claimed that two years after Sandra Beynon died in 2015, Travers enlisted lawyer Matthew Burgess to draw up documents preventing siblings from challenging Travers to a larger cut of the estate. They allege in the documents that they, along with accountant Richard Hoult, created estate planning documents which stated Trevor would gift $55 million to one of Travers' companies - Free Choice Master Holdings - and then loan it back. A separate deed also purported to secure the loan against Trevor's assets, according to the court documents. According to court filings, it allegedly came to a head in January this year, after Trevor and Travers had a disagreement over the management of Free Choice, which resulted in Travers enforcing the interest repayments on the alleged $55million loan. This comes amid what appears to be a period of upheaval for Travers, with the playboy recently having another crack at offloading his Candy Shop mansion. Travers first listed the 14-bedroom canal-side property back in 2023 and, at one stage, it had an eye-watering $25 million price tag attached. The Gold Coast Bulletin reported in May that Travers had enlisted another agent to give the property the push it needs to get it over the line. He had engaged the services of agents Ivy Wu and Isaac Kim from Ivy Realty to run an expression of interest campaign for the lavish property. Travers originally purchased the home in 2010. He later snapped up neighbouring land, effectively tripling the footprint of the compound. The property sits on a substantial 1.4 acres with 175m of private water frontage. The house itself is set across an expansive 2,230 square-metre floorplan and boasts mosaic murals and hand-painted frescos.

Michael Madsen's Sister Virginia Breaks Silence on His Sudden Death
Originally appeared on E! Online Michael Madsen's family is mourning his sudden death. Hours after the Reservoir Dogs actor was found dead in his Malibu home July 3 at 67 years old, Virginia Madsen penned an emotional tribute to her older brother. 'My brother Michael has left the stage,' Virginia wrote in a July 3 statement to Variety. 'He was thunder and velvet. Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. A father, a son, a brother—etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark.' The Candyman actress went on to emphasize that Michael—who was survived by seven children—was more than just a face on the screen. 'We're not mourning a public figure,' she continued. 'We're not mourning a myth—but flesh and blood and ferocious heart. Who stormed through life loud, brilliant, and half on fire. Who leaves us echoes—gruff, brilliant, unrepeatable—half legend, half lullaby.' And even though the Kill Bill: Vol. 2 actor became a Hollywood legend, Virginia, 63, would always remember him as the playful older brother she got to spend her childhood with. More from E! Inside the Cult Brand's Unraveling Influencer Tanner Martin Laid to Rest After Announcing His Own Death 'I'll miss our inside jokes, the sudden laughter, the sound of him,' she concluded. 'I'll miss the boy he was before the legend; I miss my big brother. Thank you to everyone reaching out with love and memory. In time, we'll share how we plan to celebrate his life—but for now, we stay close, and let the silence say what words can't.' Virginia's heartfelt tribute came just hours after the collaborator's manager Ron Smith confirmed his death to NBC News. "In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life," Madsen's managers Susan Ferris and Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said in a statement to NBC 4 Los Angeles. "Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, currently being edited." According to the outlet, authorities found the actor's body in his Malibu home after responding to a 911 call that morning and pronounced him dead at the scene. Smith has since conformed that Madsen died from cardiac arrest. "Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood's most iconic actors,' the statement continued, 'who will be missed by many.' EXCLUSIVE Inside the Candyman's secret love life drama as his ex Nisha breaks her silence about life in a three-way relationship with his wife - as he VANISHES from the spotlight
The 'main' polyamorous girlfriend of Travers 'Candyman' Beynon has quietly split from the tobacco tycoon, it can be revealed - as he vanishes from social media. Nisha Downes moved into the sprawling 'Candy Shop Mansion' home of married Mr Beynon - who dubbed himself the Candyman due to his gaudy, Instagram-focused lifestyle - on Queensland 's sunny Gold Coast in 2015. Now, 29, Nisha confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that she has traded in her old life of wild parties, designer shopping sprees and sex for a more conventional relationship and way of living. 'I was 19 when I moved in (to his 'Candy Shop Mansion') and when I turned 27 I wondered if [the relationship] was what I really wanted,' she admitted. 'I started thinking about my life and how long did I really want to do this for. Stuff like, 'if we did have kids would I be comfortable in that dynamic, forever?'.' This December marks three years since she farewelled the gaudy home and opulent estate in Helensvale for 'a new life'. 'Nothing hectic happened… in the end,' she said. 'I just felt being with one person would be a bit more intimate.' Still living on the Gold Coast, Nisha has traded in her string bikini for corporate attire - working as a development manager in the construction industry. Unearthed footage of her mansion 'audition' 11 years ago shows Downes, then 19, meeting Beynon and his wife for the first time, admitting she 'stalks' his social media pages and 'loves to party'. Later in the video, Ms Downes revealed that she was 'a bit obsessed' with the 47-year-old. She admits she sometimes got a bit jealous of other women in the house, including Mr Beynon's wife of a decade, Taesha. 'I respect that Taesha is Travers' wife and she respects that I'm his girlfriend,' she says. 'Looking at him, I'm like, it's so crazy to think that's my boyfriend. 'My mum was definitely concerned. She did call me and tell me she didn't want me to move in but I was just like, 'Well, you can come and see what it's all about, meet Trav and Taesha so you're more comfortable with it'. 'Then mum came up with her husband and mum's just obsessed with him, and she can see me now for months after living in Melbourne. 'I'm healthy and happy. I look better than I have before.' For more than a decade, Beynon's 'Candy Shop Mansion' has been the talk of the Gold Coast with its annual parties. Until the pandemic, he regularly hosted hundreds of guests at a time. There was the odd incident. In 2015, fireworks set off for his annual shindig sparked a brush fire across the canal, which was witnessed by a Daily Mail Australia reporter who attended the party. And in 2018, Beynon was slapped with a $13,000 council fine after complaints about a giant topless Virgin Mary statue. The flamboyant businessman certainly was not shy about sharing glimpses of his lavish lifestyle on social media with his millions of followers on social media - including stunt photos of naked women lying down covered in sushi. But Beynon has since stepped back from posting. He last shared a public update to Facebook back in April 2023, while his last TikTok post occurred in August 2019. It's apparently a similar story for the Beynon family tobacco empire, with the main FreeChoice Tobacco site also currently offline. While its franchise stores are still operating, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported that FreeChoice vacated its Gold Coast head office in February, with the space, owned by one of Beynon's companies, now leased to a new business. It comes amid what appears to be a period of upheaval for Beynon with the playboy recently having another crack at offloading his Candyland mansion. Beynon first listed the 14-bedroom canal-side property back in 2023 and, at one stage, it had an eye-watering $25million price tag attached. The Gold Coast Bulletin reported in May that Beynon had enlisted another agent to give the property the push it needs to get it over the line. He had engaged the services of agents Ivy Wu and Isaac Kim from Ivy Realty to run an expression of interest campaign for the lavish property. Travers originally purchased the home, located in the northern Gold Coast suburb of Helensvale, in 2010. He later snapped up neighbouring land, effectively tripling the footprint of the compound. The property sits on a substantial 1.4 acres with 175m of private water frontage. The house itself is set across an expansive 2,230 square-metre floorplan and boasts mosaic murals and hand-painted frescos.

She shared a picture of the siblings alongside their mother and wrote: 'My brother Michael has left the stage. He was thunder and velvet. Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. A father, a son, a brother – etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark. We're not mourning a public figure. Fellow screen star Sharon Stone shared her sorrow in the comments section, writing: 'My sincere condolences to you and your family." In a post on X, Jennifer Tilly – who starred alongside the actor in 1994 movie The Getaway – wrote: 'Michael was one of my favorite actors I ever worked with. The Getaway was very early in my career and he made me feel safe and supported. He was wildly audacious and rambunctious with his character choices, and had a wicked sense of humor. I don't recall ever laughing so much on a film set in my life. A huge talent. Gone too soon. Rip Michael Madsen." First Published:
