ITV branded 'out of order' by 'disappointed' Capital's Summertime Ball viewers
Capital's Summertime Ball returned to ITV once again with Mariah Carey, Benson Boone and Will Smith all part of the star-studded line-up but ITV viewers were left unimpressed Capital's Summertime Ball 2025 viewers were left impressed with ITV's coverage of the concert. The annual gig returned to Wembley Stadium earlier this month and was broadcast to the nation on Sunday (June 22) afternoon. Mariah Carey, Will Smith, Jade, Benson Boone and Jessie J were just a few names on the star-studded line-up alongside the likes of JLS, McFly, Busted and UK's Eurovision entry Remember Monday. However, viewers watching at home were left fuming at the "missing" acts from the 90-minute long highlights show. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Why didn't they show Busted vs McFly but they showed Jessie J and Mariah Carey? Piss poor #CapitalSTB." Another added: "What's the point in summertime ball being on tv when they've missed off half the acts? McFly, Busted, Lola Young, Zara Larson, James Hype, Remember Monday all missing #summertimenall #CapitalSTB." A third person said: #CapitalSTB #itv1 why you not showing #Mcfly very disappointing they should of been shown its out of order." A fourth social media user said: "#capitalsummertimeball i was waiting to watch Mcfly on # itv but there not showing them why im annoyed with that." ITV has been showing highlights from the concert at Wembley Stadium each summer for the last few years. It usually comes a week or so after the event itself takes place. The programme was hosted once again by Capital Breakfast hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby who spoke to some of the performers before they took to the stage to perform to the crowd. Speaking about his move from Radio 1 to Capital last year, Jordan said: ""Oh, honestly, they have been the best people to work for. "It was definitely the right decision. It's been just over 12 months and it has been the best year of my life. ""It's been so good, we've interviewed absolute megastars. "And what's lovely now is friends and family and people that have come over to Capital have said, 'Oh, you really suit the station. It's like you've been there for years.' "And that is the biggest compliment."

Despite the London heat, she finished her look with a pair of thigh high boots and dark sunglasses. Mariah Carey's biggest diva moments MARIAH Carey is known for her diva antics off-stage. She also had an assistant walk backwards in front of her at all times in case she fell over. As you do. She closed the show with her hit, We Belong Together, after belting out classics Fantasy and Emotions. Fans were quick to take to X to praise Mariah's vocals and one put: "What a show… Mariah Carey LIVE in the UK!!" A second added: "Mariah's mic was ON and she sounded and looked amazing! Perfect finish!" A third wrote: "Mariah looks and sounds so divine I could cry." MARIAH'S MOMENTS The star's diva demands and confessions have gone down in the showbiz history books. Mariah is also renowned for her super slim-fitting clothing choices, often accessorised with towering heels. And she has strong opinions on flats and said: "I can't wear flat shoes. My feet repel them," she said. Previously she told of her selfie rule to Buzzfeed and confessed: "I don't need to take a selfie with someone from their bleak angle; I don't care for that." JoJo Siwa 'set for another huge move' with Chris Hughes as romance ramps up
Celebrity Big Brother stars JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have had fans gripped with their unexpected romance as the pair are said to be in talks for their own reality show JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes seem ready to take another step in their budding romance as they could open the doors to their private lives. The couple have had fans gripped with their unlikely relationship after meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year. They struck up a surprise romance when JoJo broke up with her girlfriend Kath Ebbs at the show's wrap party. Since then, JoJo, 22, and Chris, 32, have been getting to know each other on the outside world with them flying across the pond to be together. Dance Moms star JoJo has been spending time with Chris at his home in the Cotswolds, having repeatedly shared her new love for the UK. As interest in their love life shows no sign of slowing down, it seems JoJo and Chris are considering revealing more of their lives. The couple are said to be having talks with ITV about the potential of their own reality TV series as they navigate life together. Bosses are reportedly convinced the show would go global thanks to the love for Chris and JoJo. 'It's still in the early stages but ITV really think they'd be amazing TV with their own show," a source told the Sun. 'Chris and JoJo are keen too, and while there is no deal signed yet, the talks have been really promising." They added: 'ITV are eyeing up the show to air on ITV2, hopefully later this year once everything is signed on the dotted line.' If things were to fall into place, it wouldn't be the first time Chris has starred in something like this. After he shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, he left the villa with then-girlfriend Olivia Attwood. The pair landed their own ITVBe spin-off show Chris & Olivia: Crackin' On, before their romance came to an end. JoJo and Chris have been gushing over each other since they took their friendship to the next level after weeks of 'are they aren't they' rumours. The dancer has even gone as far as saying she has found The One in Chris. Speaking to Capital Breakfast presenter Jordan North earlier this week, JoJo got sentimental in her description of the pair's newfound love as she compared it to a house. She said: "You know what's interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together. "And this house is earthquake proof, and it's fireproof, and bulletproof. And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it's like... You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him." When Jordan probed further, he asked the singer if she felt Chris was her "happy place". She immediately gushed back: "Oh my god, absolutely! We're having the best time. He's just the best! "I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I'm decently nice; he makes me look like I'm mean! And I'm like known for being nice, that's the thing. People say to me, 'Oh, you're so nice'. "He makes me we want to be nicer, because he's such a nice human. He's the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he's just the best."

Ted Lasso Season 4 Filming Start Date Revealed by Hannah Waddingham
More is on the way at Apple TV+, as the hit comedy series will return for a fourth season. Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton, recently revealed the Season 4 filming start date. While appearing on Capital Breakfast to promote Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Waddingham spoke about Ted Lasso and the potential for a fourth season. Waddingham is happy to return and revealed when Season 4 will begin filming. 'We start shooting in July,' Waddingham said. Waddingham acknowledged the show's popularity, especially as it continues to find itself in Apple TV+'s top 10 most-watched TV shows. Waddingham credits the strong writing as one of the reasons for the show's overwhelming success. 'Our writers are literally Jedi Knights,' Waddingham said. 'They're just incredible. And we've got like a full room of real feminist men. So we've got all the fabulous women there, and the men that are in there, and I think you really see it in the scripts.' After Ted Lasso Season 3 ended in May 2023, talks of a rumored fourth season intensified. However, nothing ever came to fruition for the first year. Finally, Apple TV+ officially announced Ted Lasso Season 4 in March. Jason Sudeikis will return as Coach Ted Lasso. 'As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap,'' said Sudeikis in a statement. 'In Season 4, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to leap before they look, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be.' Plot details have been kept under wraps. However, Sudeikis has hinted that the show will follow a women's soccer team in Season 4. Sudeikis is the only cast member confirmed to return. However, Waddingham, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Brett Goldstein, and Brendan Hunt have been rumored to return. Judging by Waddingham's comments in the interview, Rebecca Welton will post Ted Lasso Season 4 Filming Start Date Revealed by Hannah Waddingham appeared first on - Movie Trailers, TV & Streaming News, and More.
