Carly Pearce 'hard launches' new romance with entrepreneur Jordan Karcher
Carly Pearce went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, entrepreneur Jordan Karcher, last Friday. The 35-year-old Grammy winner - who boasts 2.5M social media followers - captioned her loved-up snap: 'I guess this is what the kids call a "hard launch" these days…' Jordan is the founder/CEO of a startup called Eileen, an app that helps CPG retailers scale while maintaining oversight of products in physical stores. Karcher is a proud papa to two rescued fur babies - 14-year-old Dalmatian Molly and five-year-old Pit Bull Jazz. It was Molly who inspired Jordan to create Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. in 2013 while enrolled at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. The coffee company, which donates 20% of profits to dog rescue organizations, was acquired by a private equity group in 2018. The 35-year-old Grammy winner - who boasts 2.5M social media followers - captioned her loved-up snap: 'I guess this is what the kids call a "hard launch" these days…' Jordan earned his MBA in 2015 after receiving a BA in international business from Florida International University's College of Business in 2009 - according to LinkedIn. Karcher marks Carly's first public relationship since ending her year-long fling with her former drummer, BC Taylor. 'With therapy and lots of trials and errors, it's taken me all of the last three years to get to a place where I look at love and be optimistic about it,' Pearce (born Slusser) told People in June of last year. 'Because I lived in fear and realized I hadn't really dealt with my own demons around what happened to me.' The Kentucky-born country crooner continued: 'But now that I've had a failed marriage and a failed relationship in the spotlight, I have learned we keep this one very quiet.' Carly is not ashamed of making her career a priority over having children: 'I am really okay if children do not happen for me, meaning this is what I've wanted more. My career is what I dreamt of.' In June 2023, Pearce ended her two-year relationship with minor league baseball player-turned-realtor Riley King. In June 2020, the Truck on Fire singer ended her eight-month marriage to fellow musician Michael Ray, who has since moved on with The Hills alum Audrina Patridge. 'It was awful. I mean, I'm being completely honest with you, that it was so embarrassing. It was so shameful,' Carly told Us Weekly in 2021 of her divorce. 'I felt like I had failed. I felt like…I would never find love again because I was divorced at so young, and [I] was just embarrassed.' Pearce - who gets 3.3M monthly listeners on Spotify - is next scheduled to perform this Saturday at Park Hogs for Hospice held at Seacliff in Leamington, Canada.

Carly Pearce Does Dolly Parton Tribute at the Ryman — ‘Straight Out of a Country Music Dream'
Carly Pearce Does Dolly Parton Tribute at the Ryman — 'Straight Out of a Country Music Dream' originally appeared on Parade. Country star Carly Pearce joined the legions of Dolly Parton fans paying tribute to the country legend by sharing her take on Parton's 1973 hit "Jolene." Considered one of the defining songs of country music, "Jolene" has been covered by musical icons as wide-ranging as Beyoncé to Jay-Z. Pearce's take on the iconic song was part of the Grand Ole Opry's 100th-anniversary celebration, Opry 100: A Live 35, called Parton one of her musical heroes, stating it was an honor to pay homage to the 79-year-old legend. The stunning performance was part of Pearce's 40-show Hummingbird Tour and took place at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. Pearce also reflected on the performance on her own Instagram account, calling it a 'moment straight out of a country music dream.' While much speculation has been made about the subject of Parton's "Jolene," the song is said to have been inspired by a red-headed bank teller who flirted with Parton's husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean. The famously private Dean passed away in March at the age of 82."Jolene" has been covered over 400 times, according to People magazine. Parton has cited Mindy Smith's version as one of her favorites—though she'll likely be adding Pearce's fresh take to her list. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 Carly Pearce Does Dolly Parton Tribute at the Ryman — 'Straight Out of a Country Music Dream' first appeared on Parade on Jul 17, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 17, 2025, where it first appeared. CMA Fest raises $2.5 million for music education
Before eager country music fans packed the Riverfront Stage and the big stage at Nissan Stadium lit up for the opening night of the CMA Fest, a local high school marching band turned heads in downtown Nashville. The Ravenwood High School marching band, known as The Rhythmic Ravens, lined up outside Music City Center before marching into the Fan Fair X space on June 5. Police vehicles moved out of the way to clear the view. Friends, family and perfect strangers gathered to watch as the band played. And Tiffany Kerns, the executive director of the CMA Foundation, said she got teary-eyed as she watched it all unfold. "I just can't help but have a sense of pride for them," Kerns said. "Everyone's proud. Everyone has their phones out. Everyone's taking video. It's like, 'Oh, we're all parents right now.'" This year, the festival brought in $2.5 million that will help power music education for kids like the Rhythmic Ravens in Tennessee and nationwide, Kerns said. A lesser-known fact about the annual CMA Fest is that artists donate their time to the festival and ticket proceeds go to the CMA Foundation. The nonprofit arm of the County Music Association was established in 2011 to partner with schools and music educators, provide grants and build equity in music education programs. Ticket sales aren't the only thing that benefit the foundation during CMA Fest, Kerns said. Some artists sell merchandise that also goes toward the cause. Country music star Carly Pearce took a step further by cleaning out her closet and selling her clothes during a special "Carly's Closet" pop-up on Saturday. Eager fans lined up to get some swag and catch a performance by the "Hummingbird" singer. Organizers said the event brought in $25,000 this year, making it the largest one to date. The Rhythmic Ravens were the first of several performances that featured students during this year's festival, which drew tens of thousands to Nashville. Other students on the lineup included New Orleans musicians from nonprofit Roots of Music, the Riverdale High School marching band, the Stratford High School marching band, Nashville School of the Arts student and songwriter Kingston Kharif, a rock band from Percy Priest Elementary and others. Opinion: My music students will play at CMA Fest. More kids need this opportunity Kerns hopes the experience the kids have at CMA Fest sticks with them for years to come. "Seeing the way that it brings joy to young people is a real gift," Kerns said. Country singer Cody Johnson forced to stop 'God Bless America' performance as violent brawl breaks out
Cody Johnson has zero tolerance for physical violence. During a show at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio over the weekend, the 38-year-old country star was forced to stop his performance of "God Bless America" when a fight broke out in the crowd. In TikTok footage captured by a concertgoer, fans in the crowd are seen getting involved in a scuffle, with some falling to the floor. "I mean, this is not a Travis Scott concert," Johnson told the crowd, referring to Scott's 2021 Astroworld concert in which a crowd surge killed 10 people and injured hundreds more. "There's kids in the crowd, there are all kinds of things in here that don't need to happen." "There we go, there are the police officers," he added. According to the Daily Mail, Johnson had opened up about "unity and not being divided" ahead of his performance of "God Bless America." After the fight, Johnson told the crowd, "Well, so much for my speech on not being divided." A representative for Johnson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Johnson is not the only country star who has stopped mid-concert to address a rowdy crowd. In March, Carly Pearce confronted "angry" fans during a performance at O2 Academy Birmingham in the United Kingdom. "We're all here to just have a good night, you know what I mean? We're all friends at my shows," Pearce said, as she paused her concert to address fans when a fight broke out. "Girl, I am sick, and I ain't got time for it, OK?" She continued, "I love you. I'm just saying. Please don't make everybody around you angry, OK?" According to the fan who captured the heated moment, the two fans "didn't stop" fighting following the singer's "respectful and very professional" remarks and were asked to leave. Later in the video, fans were heard chanting Pearce's name. The country star was seen giving a thumbs up as she waved to the "angry fan" being escorted out. "Ain't nobody got time for that," Pearce concluded. Fox News Digital's Stephanie Giang-Paunon contributed to this post.
