Many celebrated the news, sharing that they suspected the couple wouldn't last the long haul. One user penned, "Lol. I knew this wouldn't last. He also still hasn't sold the big house. He announced his decision "to part ways" in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The image he posted was an apparent screenshot from his Notes app. "Hi everyone, I have some tough news to share.... Caryn and I have decided to part ways and end our engagement," he wrote. "Life's a continued journey and this is the right step for us at this time." "We remain amicable and will always appreciate the many wonderful memories we have shared," he continued. "Your support means the world to me and I'm committed to moving forward with positivity and trust in the path ahead. Much love to all." The pair began their relationship approximately a year after Roloff's divorce from ex-wife Amy Roloff, in 2017. They became engaged in 2023, and discussed their relationship on the TLC show until its conclusion in 2024.

Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff CALLS OFF engagement to longtime girlfriend Caryn Chandler
Reality TV star Matt Roloff and his fiancée have decided to call it quits. The Little People, Big World star, 63, announced the sad news in a post on social media Tuesday, revealing he and his former partner Caryn Chandler, 'have decided to part ways & end our engagement'. The couple got engaged in April 2023 after six years together and had planned to tie the knot in 2024, when he first gave her the ring, but a wedding never materialized. 'Life's a continued journey and this is the right step for us at this time,' Roloff wrote in the announcement shared on social media. He said the two, who went public in 2017, just nine months after his divorce from wife Amy, 62. He said they 'remain amicable,' and 'will always appreciate the many wonderful memories we have shared.' Talking to his fans he told them, 'Your support means the World to me and I'm committed to moving forward with positivity and trust in the path ahead. Much love to all.' Chandler is not active on social media and has not made a public statement about the breakup. Roloff and his family burst on to the scene in 2006 in Little People, Big World which looked at the challenges of being a little person in world in which they are smaller than average. The show ended after 25 seasons in 2023. Amy married real estate agent Chris Marek in 2021. She and Matt share four children; twins Zach and Jeremy, 35, Molly, 31 and Jacob, 28. The family's 16 acre farm in Oregon was put up for sale in May 2022 and has not sold yet. In a post trying to grab some attention to the property Matt wrote 'Ever dreamed of building a retreat, homestead, or legacy property?' He then added, 'This TV-famous Oregon farmhouse sits on 16.6 acres with a pool, barn, trails, castle, and more—just 25 minutes from Portland.' His son Jeremy had expressed interest in buying the family homestead, but apparently father and son could to agree on the terms of the deal.
