As Rand Water prepares to execute its maintenance, various cities will be left with either low water pressure and supply or no water at all, including Rand West City. Therefore, the founder of Cast Aways, Louisa Rossouw, and her dedicated team are offering their source of borehole water.
According to Louisa, they have three taps available to the public. However, only three vehicles will be allowed onto the premises at a time.
One of the taps can fill up a tank while the other two taps can be used to fill jugs and bottles.
Anyone is welcome to come and fetch water if they are in need,' Louisa expressed.
Residents can collect water from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 15:30. On weekends, residents are welcome to collect water between 08:30 and 14:00. Make sure to visit 26 Johanna Street, Wilbotsdal.
