Twenty One Pilots announce new album, 'Breach,' scheduled for September release

There's no need to turn back time to the good old days; Columbus' hometown heroes, Twenty One Pilots, are releasing new music. A week after celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the chart-topping album, "Blurryface," central Ohio's Grammy Award-winning duo announced on social media the September release of their next full-length album, "Breach." Following a series of cryptic clues hidden on social media and throughout the "Clancy" tour, which wrapped up in May, the band announced the upcoming album and its first single, "The Contract," which is set for release on June 12. The iconic duo of singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun just celebrated a 14-year "band-iversary" in May. Now, Twenty One Pilots still brings the ride to heathens across the globe. The band's 2024 album, "Clancy," sold over 143 million copies in its first week alone and has grown to over 1 billion global streams. Through the release of "The Contract," fans can preorder the first pressing edition of the "Breach" vinyl and CD. Ohio native Dylan Bradshaw wins Doritos Super Bowl commercial contest and $1 million

Central Ohio-born filmmaker Dylan Bradshaw won the national Doritos Crash the Super Bowl commercial competition, winning $1 million. The company will now fly Bradshaw and his co-director, Nate Norell, to Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, where they will watch their ad, "Abduction," be shown at the most watched event on television. The duo was selected as one of three contest finalists last month after competing against 24 other commercial submissions in the semifinalist round. The general public voted online, selecting "Abduction" as the fan favorite of the national competition, reinstated this year for the first time in 10 years. Ohioans can catch the winning advertisement on Fox, which is broadcasting the Super Bowl this year.
