Seva Sankalp App Empowers Citizens Through Real-Time Feedback and Participation

Aatmnirbhar Sena's upcoming public utility initiative, Seva Sankalp App, is all set to bridge the gap between citizens and their elected representatives. The Seva Sankalp App will authorize the users to rate MPs, MLAs, and Mukhiyas based on their performance. In addition to this, they can also file civic or governance-related complaints in real time. There is an increasing public demand for responsive governance along with the presence of transparency in the system. The Seva Sankalp App is centred around a shift towards data-driven citizen feedback mechanisms. This app will facilitate users to assess elected public representatives across a range of performance metrics, encompassing constituency development work, attendance in parliament, public interaction, and issue redressal efforts. The developers behind the initiative clarify that the app has nothing to do with political ideologies, but it just serves as a citizen-inclined tool for participatory governance. Through the Seva Sankalp App, users will get the facility to file complaints related to delayed government services, challenges pertaining to local infrastructure, etc. Each complaint is addressed and directed to the concerned representative or department, encouraging timely redressal. Experts have the opinion that such platforms could work as the key instruments in tracking representative performance while also creating pressure on the officials to stay consistently active in their constituencies. The Seva Sankalp App by Aatmnirbhar Sena is anticipated to be available in multiple Indian languages to ensure accessibility across diverse demographic and regional groups. As per a policy brief published by the Centre for Demographic Reforms, digital rating tools can raise the quality of accountability and debate in electoral politics if developed ethically and protected from misuse. The Seva Sankalp app is being viewed as part of a significant movement to reclaim civic agency, especially among rural voters, youth, and first-time participants in the political process. This app is said to have built-in checks to avoid defamatory content and encourages ratings based on verifiable data and local ground reports. In his remark regarding the impact of civic technology, Venugopal Naidu Puvvada, Trustee and Mentor- Technology and Startups, Aatmnirbhar Sena, stated, 'The citizens of Bharat seek everyday accountability. When they are given the tools to express their concerns and pain points and evaluate their representatives, democracy becomes a living, breathing force. The Seva Sankalp app is a step in that direction, towards participatory governance, informed dialogue, and transparency in the leadership.' Venugopal Naidu Puvvada, who is a known name in the Tech and AI space, further added, 'Technology has the power to strengthen the roots of democracy. The Seva Sankalp App encourages a culture of active civic participation. Just think, what will happen when every local issue reaches a higher level of scrutiny? We believe that the public wants solutions to their problems rather than conversations. The Seva Sankalp App is built for the Public's Samasya ka Samadhan and will act as the democratic report card.' As the democratic space continues to flourish, initiatives such as Seva Sankalp will be the game changer for deepening democracy beyond the ballot box.
