Dyson just introduced its smartest Airwrap yet with the new Co-anda2x multi-styler

Dyson is upping the ante yet again with its newest launch. Enter the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x, which is being touted as the brand's most powerful and intelligent multi-styler to date. If you've ever been impressed by Dyson's sleek designs and hair technology, prepare to be amazed by one of the smartest styling tools on the market, delivering an experience that's custom-tailored to you, minus the heat damage. However, this kind of power doesn't come cheap: The Co-anda2x is priced at $700, which is $200 more than the original Airwrap i.d. This latest model promises not only better performance than before but an entirely redefined styling experience, packed with twice the air pressure, 30% more power and even smarter features. If you're among the Dyson devotees (and let's be honest, who isn't?), this is the upgrade you didn't know you needed. Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-Styler for Straight/Wavy Hair Available in two colors — Ceramic Pink and Jasper Plum — the Co-anda2x is as stylish as it is functional. Straight and wavy hair types, this set comes with all the attachments you need for your hair texture. That includes the dryer head and the new and improved loop brush as well as the Airsmooth and two sets of Coanda curlers, which are specific to this kit. Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-Styler for Curly/Coily Swapping out the 1.2-inch Coanda barrels and Airsmooth attachments for a diffuser and a tension comb, this set for curly and coily hair types helps dry and style hair in a speedy manner. The diffuser features a dome shape that defines hair patterns, while the tension comb features additional side bristles to increase tension for a straighter finish. In comparison to earlier models like the Dyson Airwrap 1.0, which already set the bar for versatile hair styling, the Co-anda2x doubles down on power. Driven by the new Hyperdymium 2 motor, it spins at an impressive 150,000 revolutions per minute (rpm). For the uninitiated, that's the kind of power that means faster drying, more defined curls and smoother straightening — all without blasting hair with high, damaging temperatures. With smart sensors that measure the temperature 1,000 times per second, your hair stays safe and shiny while the tool adapts its airflow and heat. Dyson's all-in-one approach now also includes six key attachments, each designed for a specific purpose. Whether you want to dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth or volumize, the Co-anda2x covers all bases — and it does so faster than previous models, per the brand. Like having your own hair stylist in your pocket, new to the Co-anda2x is i.d. curl, an app-driven feature that offers a personalized curling sequence based on your hair type and styling preferences. An RFID chip enables the Co-anda 2x to recognize each styling attachment when connected, dialing each to its recommended airflow and heat settings. What's more, you can also sync to the MyDyson app to completely customize your styling experience. For anyone who's tired of spending hours in front of the mirror with multiple styling tools, this sleek, tech-forward redesign will make your routine faster, easier and more efficient. We've tested the Dyson Airwrap vs. Shark Flexstyle blow for blow, and the Dyson's early iteration delivered professional-level blowouts in under 20 minutes. You can expect more of the same (if not more) from the latest Co-anda2x. Dyson's new Airwrap hair styler with motor 'faster than F1 engine'

The leading haircare giant has announced its best hair tool for styling and drying with a faster motor and lighter attachments Dyson's most awarded hair styler is getting an upgrade later this year, launching Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler and dryer with new motor that "spins nine times faster than a Formula 1 car engine". The new Airwrap, available in both Jasper Plum and Ceramic Pink, makes a styling routine easier while protecting hair from heat damage. The tool is embedded with smart sensor technology including an RFID chip in each attachment to instantly adapt to the best temperature and airflow settings. The new Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler and dryer, priced at £579.99, will be made available to purchase in September and shoppers can sign up here to receive a notification when it becomes ready for sale. Comparing this to the Airwrap id styler (available at £479.99), the new invention is smaller and lighter and each set includes six premium attachments and presented in a Dyson-designed case. The Straight + Wavy set comes with a 30mm Co-anda2x curling barrel, 40mm Co-anda2x curling barrel, anti-snag loop brush 2x, round volumising brush 2x, AirSmooth2x attachment and fast dryer 2x. For the Curly + Coily set, shoppers will recieve a 40mm Co-anda2x curling barrel, anti-snag loop brush 2x, round volumising brush 2x, tension comb 2x, Wave+Curl diffuser 2x and fast dryer 2x. The new and improved motor shortens the time required to curl and it's faster to create tight, voluminous and loose curls with 30% more product power and two times more air pressure. The new anti-snag loop brush has new hook bristles mean for increased control nearer the root while providing comfort on the scalp. To straighten hair, shoppers can use the AirSmooth 2x attachment - two non-heated contact bars with two jets of high velocity air to create a hair straightening effect with less frizz. When a full tress pass is completed, the arms automatically unclamp to release hair. The trailer video has quickly drawn fans' attention as one view guessed: "Oh looks like a blow dryer, a new smooth brush, round brush, curler… and is that a straightener attachment?" Another joked: "I mean, three months ago I bought the Airstrait, I also own Airwrap and Supersonic, please stop, I have no more place in my flat." Meanwhile, those who want to spend less on a Dyson hair tool can look at the brand's Refurbished section online. The refurbished Dyson Airwrap with complete long volumise has been marked down from £399.99 to £349.99. Undoubtedly a Dyson hair tool is an investment, I bought the first generation Dyson airwrap five years ago and it's been performing amazingly. I was particularly impressed by the curling barrels, they attract the hair like a magnet and the curls stay for days. But for a more budget option, ghd's new triple barrel hair waver, Wave, is an easy tool to achieve loose beach waves that turn heads, costing £159. However, this doesn't dry the hair and can only be used as a styling tool. Bellissima's Prodigy Air Styler, £249.99, is relatively cheaper than the Dyson. The curling barrels also feature Coanda Technology while the Ion Technology helps keep hair hydrated. Sir James Dyson, founder and Chief Engineer of Dyson said: "Dyson has developed a new motor for our new Airwrap2x, which spins at 150,000rpm, delivering twice the air pressure, faster drying and less heat damage. "The high pressure creates a longer lasting curl or straighter styles. Traditional stylers can damage hair, but we have always focused on developing tools that protect hair health whilst enhancing without compromising precision and or performance. We harness our expertise in motors, fluid dynamics, and materials to continually improve."
