Her fate takes an unexpected turn when she spends a night with Lee Beon, the novel's brooding male lead from royal lineage, known for his striking looks, martial prowess, and tragic past. While trying to comfort him, an emotional bond forms between them that begins to shift the original storyline.
Determined to restore the plot, Cha Seon Chaek attempts to bring Lee Beon and the novel's heroine, Jo Eun Ae, together. However, her presence alters the course of events, and no matter what she does, Lee Beon's affections continue to return to her.
