You Know These Popular Songs, Here Are Some Underrated Jams From The Same Artists

Okay, we're starting out with Miss Americana herself, because Swifties truly run the world! You know "Cruel Summer", but do you know "But Daddy I Love Him"? Diehard Swiftie or not, I'm sure you've heard more than a few Taylor Swift songs in your time. But Taylor's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, contains 30 songs, and some are bound to fly under the radar. "But Daddy I Love Him" tells a lighthearted story of a relationship that people don't approve of. It is one of the longer tracks on the album, and it contains a number of lyrics that will make you laugh out loud. It's the perfect song to play during a summer road trip, just be prepared to sing along! If you were on TikTok at all last year, you know "Beautiful Things". Now try Benson Boone's earlier hit, "Before You". We've all screamed along to the chorus of this hit once or twice in our lives. If you like Benson's soulful voice, his earlier hit "Before You" delivers. It has a sweet melody, telling a story of a love that was lost, and boasts the same sing-along factor as all of his other hits. Still dreaming of the "Pink Pony Club"? Listen to one of Chappell Roan's more underrated tracks, "Guilty Pleasure". I swear, everything Chappell Roan releases is a bop. There's not a single track on her album that I don't want to belt in the shower. "Guilty Pleasure" has a catchy chorus, plus it shows off Chappell's phenomenal voice! Dare I say I like it *better* than "Pink Pony Club"? Every summer belongs to Harry Styles, but "Watermelon Sugar" might be a little overplayed by now. Replace it with "Daydreaming"! Nobody loves Harry Styles more than I do (fight me, if you dare), and "Daydreaming" just might be one of my favorites off of his most recent album from---gulp---all the way back in 2022! It has the carefree, summer vibe of Harry's other music, with a catchy intro that's perfect to sing along with. It will truly make you feel like you're living in a daydream! Can't stop singing "Too Sweet" by Hozier? Well, "Someone New" will only get stuck in your head even more! True fans of Hozier will remember "Someone New" from all the way back in 2013, when "Take Me To Church" was Hozier's number one hit. But it most definitely stands the test of time. "Someone New" has an acoustic vibe, with a melody that might get stuck in your head. And don't we all want to adopt Hozier's mindset of falling in love with everyone you're surrounded by, just a little bit? Everyone knows "Espresso", but do you know "Fast Times" from Sabrina Carpenter's 2022 album? This queen cannot make a bad track. "Fast Times" did not get the recognition it deserved when it was first released. It tells the story of a blazing love affair that didn't last for long, and it has the same tongue-and-cheek wit that we're used to from Sabrina. You love that me espresso, but it's time to appreciate the other catchy songs in Sabrina Carpenter's repertoire. You know "Rush" by Troye Sivan? Taste. But "Honey" is even more sweet! Even if you don't know Troye Sivan's music, "Honey" is the perfect addition to your summer playlist. It echoes all of the feelings of discovering a new crush: desire, longing, building up courage to finally talk to the person you've had your eyes on. The synth-pop sound is great for a dance party and a summer barbecue alike. "Vampire" has been stuck in our heads since Olivia Rodrigo released it in 2023. "Ballad Of A Homeschooled Girl" is even more angsty, if you can believe it! Love the anger in "Vampire"? Well, that's only doubled in "Ballad Of A Homeschooled Girl"! This song is great for rocking out to, plus it captures the social awkwardness that we've all felt at one time or another. Olivia Rodrigo knows how to do teenage angst, and we love her for that. Finally, wrap up your summer playlist with "This Song", the newest hit by Conan Gray of "Heather" fame. You might know Conan Gray for his sad bedroom pop, but "This Song" could fit in perfectly with hits by all of the biggest pop artists. It tells the story of a new love, and radiates the pain we've all felt when crushing on someone. Honestly, this song just makes me daydream about someone writing a song like this for me! Did we miss any of your favorites?

All the Glastonbury 2025 secret sets as Lewis Capaldi makes surprise comeback

Whether you bagged tickets to the biggest festival of the year (see: ever), or you've been catching up with the best bits on BBC iPlayer, there's no denying that Glastonbury 2025 has been epic. And, with two full days left to go, including headline slots from Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, there's still soooooo much insane music to check out. If you keep up with the famous festival, you'll also know that they're renowned for booking 'secret sets.' In the past, Emily Eavis and co have sneaked the likes of the Foo Fighters, Jack White and Pulp into Worthy Farm, all of whom have delivered the most unreal performances to the shock (and delight) of their adoring fans. So, as Glasto 2025 is still in full swing - and we eagerly await the mysterious Patchwork this evening (everyone is now saying it's Chappell Roan, which would be *iconic*) - let's take a look at the best secret sets of this year so far... OK, this is deffo the biggest 'secret' performance of the weekend, albeit heavily rumoured. Yesterday, Lewis Capaldi made a triumphant return to the Pyramid Stage after taking some well-earned time off. Many will remember that, back in 2023, Lewis, who has Tourette's, performed on the same stage but had to cut his set short. In front of the crowd, he experienced voice loss and pronounced tics, which led to the audience stepping in and helping him sing his iconic hit, 'Someone You Loved', in support. When he stepped onto the stage this year, as the 'TBA' act scheduled before Alanis Morissette, Lewis let his voice do the talking. He addressed the crowd: "Glastonbury, it's so good to be back. I'm not going to say much up here today because if I did I might start crying." No, we're not crying, you are. For those who managed to get out of bed before midday on Friday, you'll likely have trekked to the Woodsies stage for a surprise set from Lorde. The New Zealand musician has recently made a return to social media and the music world, having last dropped Solar Power back in 2021. Rocking up in an all white casual outfit, the 28-year-old packed out the stage - and beyond - as she performed her new album, Virgin, in full. She also played many of her earlier hits, including 2017's 'Green Light.' Just before her set, Glastonbury announced it had closed the Woodsies field due to overcrowding. Of course, this is because rumours about her appearance had been spreading around the site. Lorde last played the Pyramid Stage in 2022. Music fans who still had battery on their phone - or just happened to be walking past the Strummerville stage at 3pm - were treated to an impromptu secret set from Olivia Dean. The musician announced her set on Instagram not long before the performance, which of course, led to huge crowds. The question is now, who else will be making a surprise appearance over the last two days?

Lorde Shares Final ‘Virgin' Preview With New Single, ‘Hammer': Stream It Now

Lorde has dropped the 'Hammer,' giving fans the final taste of her upcoming fourth album before its official arrival next week. With Virgin scheduled for release on June 27, Lorde took to social media earlier this week to reveal that one final single would be dropping in the lead-up – joining the recently-released cuts 'What Was That' and 'Man of the Year.' More from Billboard Rachel Zegler Serenades Crowd Outside Theater for Free in a New London Production of 'Evita' Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to Receive Vanguard Award at The Guitar Center Music Foundation Gala & Benefit Concert Shakira Announces Two More Dates in Mexico, Extending Record to 28 On Instagram Wednesday (June 18), Lorde explained that the new song would be titled 'Hammer.' 'First song on the album,' she wrote in her caption. 'An ode to city life and horniness tbh.' Arriving on Friday (June 20), the euphoric new single features co-production by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, and launches with an electronic passage which has drawn similarities to Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face' by some online commentators. Lyrically, the track also references Lorde's previous comments surrounding the forthcoming recording, including that of rebirth, and also of her relationship toward gender – as evidenced in the line, 'Some days I'm a woman, some days I'm a man.' The line echoes the singer's recent comments about fostering a close friendship with Chappell Roan in the past year, with the pair also discussing Lorde's changing relationship with gender. '[Chappell Roan] asked me this … She was like, 'So, are you nonbinary now?'' Lorde recalled. 'I was like, 'I'm a woman except for the days when I'm a man,'' the singer continued. 'I know that's not a very satisfying answer, but there's a part of me that is really resistant to boxing it up.' Gender is one of several topics Lorde has promised to explore on Virgin, which drops June 27 via Republic Records featuring additional production from Fabiana Palladino, Andrew Aged, Buddy Ross, Dan Nigro and Dev Hynes of Blood Orange. The singer-songwriter has also said that the album was informed by her experiences with disordered eating, quitting birth control and breaking off a longterm relationship. 'THE COLOUR OF THE ALBUM IS CLEAR,' she described the project when announcing it back in April. 'LIKE BATHWATER, WINDOWS, ICE, SPIT. FULL TRANSPARENCY. THE LANGUAGE IS PLAIN AND UNSENTIMENTAL. THE SOUNDS ARE THE SAME WHEREVER POSSIBLE. I WAS TRYING TO SEE MYSELF, ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I WAS TRYING TO MAKE A DOCUMENT THAT REFLECTED MY FEMININITY: RAW, PRIMAL, INNOCENT, ELEGANT, OPENHEARTED, SPIRITUAL, MASC.' The release of 'Hammer' will also be accompanied by a Renell Medrano-directed music video, which will premiere via YouTube at 9am ET on Friday, June 20. Listen to 'Hammer' below.
