Hyundai Hope on Wheels donates $250,000 to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation to support the art therapy program at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Charles-Bruneau paediatric hematology oncology unit
The mission of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation is to give children with cancer the best possible chance of recovery by funding research and supporting the development of projects dedicated to paediatric hemato-oncology.
Specialized Charles-Bruneau Units and Centres have been established within the four university hospital centres that care for children with cancer in Quebec, including at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval.
This donation from Hyundai to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation is part of Hyundai Hope on Wheels' $4 million commitment to support paediatric oncology centres across Canada in 2025. The funding is aimed at advancing treatment options, patient care and cancer survivorship needs.
The $250,000 donation will support young patients undergoing treatment through the art therapy program funded by the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, providing a powerful outlet for children and families as they navigate the emotional and psychological challenges of illness.
