An article on Saturday about the devastating flooding in Central Texas misstated the surname of one of those missing in the flood. Her name is Charlotte Huff, not Buff.
An article on Friday about the announcement that Pope Leo XIV would be staying in Castel Gandolfo for two weeks in July misstated the location of Castel Gandolfo relative to Rome. It is to the southeast, not the southwest.
An article on Sunday about staff losses at the National Park Service since the beginning of the Trump administration misstated a focus of the Property and Environment Research Center's work. It is to support better-managed public land, not to promote the privatization of public land.
An article on Sunday about the responses to Zohran Mamdani's race disclosure as a high school senior applying to college referred incorrectly to people discussing the topic of being born in an African nation while having Asian heritage. They were South Asian, not Southeast Asian.
An article on Saturday about Attorney General Pam Bondi informing tech companies that they could lawfully violate a statute barring American companies from supporting TikTok based on a sweeping claim that President Trump has the constitutional power to set aside laws, according to newly disclosed documents, misstated the school where Zachary S. Price is a professor. It is the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, not the University of California San Francisco.
An obituary on Saturday about the theater director Mark Brokaw referred incorrectly to a 1988 Second Stage Theater production of 'The Rimers of Eldritch.' While it was Mr. Brokaw's first major directing job in the city, it was not the case that it was his first directing job there. Months earlier, he directed an Off Broadway production of 'Terry by Terry,' a pair of one-act plays presented by Manhattan Punch Line Theater.
