Oxford school creates 'magical' toy worlds using lockers
School students have said converting old school lockers into toy display cabinets felt "kind of magical".Students from the Cheney School's Rumble Museum in Oxford, Oxfordshire, have used vintage toys such as a marble run and Polly Pocket to design "story lockers" as part of the museum's 100 Years of Toys & Games is the only UK-accredited museum spread throughout a school and people can book a visit to see the Lorna Robinson said the project had been "really special" because the children "designed a whole world inside their locker". Holocaust Memorial Day: Oxford students create candleholder
A group of students have collaborated with a local museum to create a unique candleholder for Holocaust Memorial from Cheney School's Rumble Museum in Oxford worked with the Museum of Oxford to design the item as part of 80 Candles for 80 Years project by the Holocaust Memorial Day Jones, the museum's community engagement and exhibitions officer, alongside two students and two teachers, attended an event at Buckingham Palace on 13 January, where they spoke to King Charles III about their Jones said it was "an incredible honour". "It reinforced how vital it is to keep these stories alive and ensure they resonate with future generations," she said.
