Flight attendant warns people to stop wearing this 'disgusting' clothing item on planes
A flight attendant has warned people to stop wearing this 'disgusting' clothing item on aeroplanes- saying you will get a 'staph infection'. Dallas-based air hostess Cher Killough, who has worked in the industry for six years, recently took to TikTok to recommend the perfect travel outfit. Sharing a video to her page, @cherdallas, the cabin crew claimed wearing shorts on board an aircraft should be 'banned' since it exposes your skin to the seating. In the clip, which racked up over 11,000 views, she said: 'I'm a firm believer in no shorts ever, you're not allowed to wear shorts, sorry disgusting, your skin is touching the seat, it's nasty, it's dirty you're going to get a staph infection.' Instead, Cher recommends opting for a practical and comfortable outfit that still keeps you covered. Her go-to travel uniform includes loose-fitting trousers, trainers, a simple T-shirt, and a jumper to cover your shoulders and keep you warm during chilly flights. 'This is the perfect travel outfit no matter what,' she declared. Cher went onto list some of the other practical travel outfits she approves of. She said: 'Long sundresses, I have seen girls rock the SKIMS dress in the airport, they look so cute and put together. 'Any variation of a long dress like this is cute, and your legs are covered, they're not touching the seat,' she added. The flight attendant suggested adding a pair of trainers and a cardigan or jumper for added comfort. Elsewhere, Cher said a long skirt is another alternative if you didn't want to wear leggings. She added: 'I shockingly approve of long skirts too... would I have my toes out? Absolutely not. But with sneakers, this would be perfect. 'Any variation of a matching set in the airport looks so good and clean.' Lastly, Cher said she approves of people wearing a full hazmat suit onboard, saying she has seen it 'many times on the plane'. She added: 'I completely appreciate the dedication to the look. When I see assume people have watched my videos about how filthy the plane is.' Viewers took to the comment section to share their own thoughts, while some were all for the long dress others said it would be a safety hazard in an emergency Many rushed to the comments with their own thoughts, while some were all for the long dress others said it would be a safety hazard in an emergency. One person said: 'I love wearing a long dress on a flight.' Another added: 'I always travel in a long dress! Cozy, but can also hike it up if it's warm!' Someone else said: 'Ok but wouldn't the dress/skirt make it harder to evacuate in an emergency?' It comes after Cher called out bad in-flight etiquette - and took aim at people who don't shower before early flights in particular. Branding this behavior 'unacceptable' in her TikTok video, Cher said she thinks travelers should 'go to prison' for not showering before getting on a plane. In the clip, she said: 'There is zero reason that I should be smelling a stranger's body odour radiating off their warm body at five o'clock in the morning. 'And it's always men, sometimes it's ladies who are having a lady problem that nobody told them about, but usually it's men. She added: 'Wash yourself! You are going to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers. Show up clean or don't come at all.' Elsewhere Cher revealed another annoying habit is when people play music and other noises out loud on their phones or iPad. She said: 'It's no one else's problem except yours that you didn't charge your earpods or you didn't bring headphones. Why are you making it everyone else's problem around you? I don't care if your kid is going to cry because they can't listen to Cocomelon on full blast - that is less annoying than hearing it off their iPad.' People took to the comment section to leave their own thoughts, with some agreeing with the flight attendant. One person said: 'The body odor thing is absolutely, however if they are on this flight because another was cancelled or something and they had to sleep at the airport. maybe hand out body wipes....' Another added: 'Ever had to run twenty minutes to a connecting flight with luggage in tow? You'll sweat, my dear, and there may be an odour.' To which Cher replied: 'Wear deodorant ?? It's pretty simple, it works in a preventative way.'

Flight attendant reveals plane passengers' most 'disgusting' habit - and says men are the main culprits
A flight attendant has revealed the 'disgusting' hygiene habit passengers skip before boarding. Dallas-based air hostess Cher Killough, who has worked in the industry for five years, recently took to TikTok to call out bad in-flight etiquette - and took aim at people who don't shower before early flights in particular. She said: 'It's no one else's problem except yours that you didn't charge your earpods or you didn't bring headphones. 'Why are you making it everyone else's problem around you, Jail! I don't care if your kid is going to cry because they can't listen to Cocomelon on full blast that is less annoying than hearing off of their iPad.' People rushed to the comments to leave their own thoughts with some agreeing with the flight attendant. One person said: 'The body odor thing is absolutely, however if they are on this flight because another was cancelled or something and they had to sleep at the airport. maybe hand out body wipes....' It's pretty simple, it works in a preventative way.' It comes after Cher revealed a further three annoying habits that she believes should be made 'illegal' on plane journeys. According to Cher, the most irritating behavior is 'manspreading' or, more specifically, 'manspreading when you're in a middle seat'. According to the Oxford English dictionary, manspreading refers to the 'the practice whereby a man adopts a sitting position with his legs wide apart, in such a way as to encroach on an adjacent seat' - especially on public transport. Branding this behavior as 'unacceptable' in her TikTok, Cher said: 'I've been a passenger, and had it numerous times, where men will spread their knees all the way into my seat section or the person's on the other side. 'It's just unacceptable. 'It's always the shortest ones that are doing it!' she continued. 'I'm 5ft 8in, so if I'm taking up just my seat section, then you as a little 5ft 6in man can definitely do the same.' Cher also claimed that 'smelling like anything' during a flight was inconsiderate to other passengers. 'It's already an environment where people are prone to getting nauseous, so having an extra fragrance on top of that is just not a good mix. 'But if I had to pick one, I would definitely choose someone's perfume over someone's body odor over because we get that sometimes,' she clarified. Lastly, Cher added, taking off your shoes and walking around the plane barefoot was a big no-no. 'You seriously need to go to jail if you are having your bare toes out when you go to the bathroom,' she continued. 'I see this all the time and it should be against the law and in general I don't want to see your bare feet at all. Wear shoes or wear socks.' The clip, which racked up over 7,000 views, was captioned: 'Don't get mad at the fragrance one in the cabin! Some people are extremely sensitive to smells (I'm people)' Cher's clip sparked a spirited discussion in the comments section, with several people agreeing with her advice. One TikTok user noted: 'When they man spread in the middle i make myself as big as possible 'til they get the hint.' Another added: 'If someone man spreads I just lean my legs against him. He'll move and retract eventually.' Someone else added: 'If he manspreads I'm doing it too and now making things awkward by our legs touching.' A fourth added: 'Thank you for this… I'm a fairly frequent flier with fragrance hypersensitivity. 'I had a woman try to wipe down our shared armrest with a fragranced wet wipe, once.'

Flight attendant reveals the common passenger behaviour that drives them insane
A flight attendant has shared two forms of common passenger behaviour that 'send her over the edge' when she's having a particularly 'bad day.' Dallas-based air hostess Cher Killough, who has worked in the industry for six years, recently took to TikTok to highlight disruptive in-flight habits that often leave her 'clenching' her jaw. Sharing a video to her page, @cherdallas, the cabin crew noted she becomes frustrated when a passenger ignores crucial safety instructions because a previous flight attendant either turned a blind eye or allowed them to do so. She added: 'Well, the last flight attendant wasn't doing her job. I have to subtly argue and just explain the reason - which normally I'm fine with doing - but if I'm already having a long day, this will have me in the galley begging God for some strength.' Cher then revealed her second in-flight gripe: passengers who continue to 'pop open' the bins after she informed them 'several times' they are full and cannot be used. She explained: 'When the bins are full and I've closed it, somebody pops it open after I've said: "If it's closed, it's full," like seven times... they pop it open and they leave it open.' The flight attendant said this often results in a goose chase, which sees her having to return to the bin a number of times to close it as passengers continue to throw their rubbish away. Cher stressed the importance of being able to have 'patience' to effectively do her job and make sure everyone on board is safe, but jokingly added that when 'it's been a long day,' she is often forced to 'say a prayer' and 'ask for help.' In the comments, both plane passengers and flight attendants rallied to agree with Cher's complaints In the comments, both plane passengers and flight attendants rallied to agree with Cher's complaints. One person wrote, 'I feel ya,' while another said, 'The bin thing drives me crazy as a passenger too. Like they JUST said if it's closed it is full!! Leave it alone!!' A flight attendant added: 'When someone opens a bin I've already closed then sits down without closing it (!!!!!) I go up and ask them, are you done with this? Then shut it. 'Makes them and other people around them see how annoying it is I have to close it AGAIN.' One passenger commented: 'I'm a frequent flyer and so much of this is common sense. Many times I sit their watching people and I'm Were you raised in a barn? Sometimes I speak up if I see the attendant is being disrespected.'
