St. Paul pedestrian struck and killed early Saturday morning on Highway 52
A 46-year-old St. Paul man was struck and killed while walking early Saturday morning in St. Paul, authorities said. The state patrol's website contained the following details about the fatality: About 2:13 a.m. Saturday, Mark Anthony Todd, 62, of Cottage Grove, was driving a 2012 Subaru Forester south on Highway 52 at Alabama Street when his vehicle struck a pedestrian. Cher Vang, 46, was walking on the roadway when he was hit and killed, the report said. The roads were wet at the time. The Subaru driver was not injured in the crash. Pedestrian 'walking in the roadway' fatally struck on Hwy. 52 in St. Paul
Authorities are investigating after a man was fatally struck by a motorist in St. Paul early Saturday. According to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report, the driver of a Subaru Forrester was southbound on Highway 52 at around 2:15 a.m. when they struck a pedestrian near Alabama Street. The pedestrian, identified as 46-year-old Cher Vang of St. Paul, was killed in the crash. The incident report says Vang was "walking in the roadway" when he was struck. A 62-year-old Cottage Grove man driving the Subaru was uninjured. Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
