Over 1,000 students participated in the grand procession, while around 1,500 students attended the symposium.
The yatra was flagged off from Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Pakkibagh and passed through Gangez Tiraha and Dharamshala before culminating back at the school premises. Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and Goraksh Prant Sanghchalak Mahendra Agrawal said that those who once dismissed ABVP are now surprised by its growth and impact.
"The Parishad is actively turning Swami Vivekananda's vision of a 'Young India' into reality by igniting youth consciousness not just in universities but also in villages, tribal regions, and border areas," he added.
ABVP national secretary Ankit Shukla emphasized, " ABVP is more than just a student body. It is a movement that views education as the foundation of nation-building. ABVP doesn't just produce degree holders; it nurtures responsible, socially aware citizens."
Highlighting the organization's contributions during national crises like the Covid-19 pandemic, Shukla said ABVP workers were always at the forefront.
Several regional leaders and volunteers including Shrirang Narayan Pandey, Puneet Agrawal, Rajvardhan, Shubham Govind Rao, and Kishan Mishra were also present.
