Kaizer Chiefs open talks for THIRD ex-Orlando Pirates star!
Kaizer Chiefs are already set to welcome two former Orlando Pirates players with a third now reportedly targeted! Chiefs are looking to improve their fortunes ahead of what could be a very busy 2025/26 football season If reports are to be believed, Chiefs have already signed at least five players, with increasing links on others. Pirates duo Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane are believed to be their earliest signings. The two defenders will join on a free transfer. There are also rumours that Mamelodi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro and Cape Town Spurs' Asanele Velebayi are Khosified. They have also reportedly agreed deals for Ethan Chislett after leaving Port Vale and Nkanyiso Shinga a Portuguese-based left-back. Furthermore they are believed to be advancing in negotiations to sign Indonesia-based Portuguese striker Flavio Silva. Now according to SABC Sport , that is not the only player Chiefs have opened talks with. According to the same publication, Chiefs have began club to club dialogue with SuperSport United. This as they attempt to sign for Pirates midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu. 'SABC Sport can reveal that Kaizer Chiefs have formally opened talks with SuperSport United to sign midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu. It's believed Amakhosi are hoping to wrap up the Ndlovu discussions in time for the player to join the rest of the squad in Europe. Matsatsantsa had earlier triggered the option to extend the player's contract by a further year after managing to avoid relegation on the final day of last season, so Chiefs will have to negotiate a fee to get him on board. According to information gathered by the public broadcaster, the two parties are now in advanced stages of negotiations, and pending finer details Ndlovu could very well be joining another Soweto giant since leaving Pirates in 2022.' To catch up on this "beef,'' Tyreek Hill has played against the Bills 12 total times in his career - regular season and playoffs - as a member of the Chiefs and Dolphins. And it hasn't gone well.
To catch up on this "beef,'' Tyreek Hill has played against the Bills 12 total times in his career - regular season and playoffs - as a member of the Chiefs and Dolphins. And it hasn't gone well. originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Folks who watch Tyreek Hill and his notable behavior who aren't fans of his team often have a question that goes something like this ... Advertisement "What is that guy thinking?'' And now Buffalo Bills Mafia can form an answer ... "He's not.'' Hill, a nine-year NFL veteran who is among the fastest and most gifted players of his generation, is for some reason appearing in a video is going viral that shows him hanging out in a limousine with some YouTube personalities and going off on a NSFW rant about his rivalry with the Bills and their fans. "I don't (expletive) with the Bills," Hill said in his foul-mouthed monologue. "When I used to play in Kansas City bruh, it was always (expletive) the Bills every time we played against them. And we (expletive) them up every time. Advertisement "But in Miami it's the same thing too though, but like 10 times harder. It's (expletive) the Bills all day. All they wanna do is jump through (expletive) tables 'cause they got (expletive) CTE. Stupid (expletive) fans." Let's break this down in two ways ... One, to Bills Mafia: Here's betting you will take Tyreek's comments as compliments. Yes, you "jump through tables'' and you will likely have even more motivation to be rowdier than ever this tailgate season when Tyreek's Miami Dolphins come to town. And two, to the assertion that Hill's teams handle the Bills "every time.'' Advertisement Umm, not exactly. Hill has played against the Bills 12 total times in his career - regular season and playoffs - as a member of the Chiefs and now the Dolphins. In total, he has had 72 catches for 861 yards and three touchdowns in those meetings. That averages to about six catches, 72 yards and 0.25 touchdowns per matchup. Those numbers don't scream dominance ... but his Chiefs did have the upper hand in the playoffs during their Super Bowl reign ... slightly. In total, though, Hill is just 4-8 against the Bills in his career overall. And Hill's Dolphins have also lost the last six games they've played against the Bills from 2022-2024. Advertisement The Bills will square off with Hill and the Dolphins in Buffalo in Week 3 on Thursday Night Football and in Miami in Week 10 this season. Easy predictions? Tyreek will be an underdog again. And Bills Mafia will jump through tables again. Kaizer Chiefs agree deal for signing number SIX!
Kaizer Chiefs are stepping up their transfer window activity ahead of their pre-season tour to the Netherlands. Chiefs are set to depart for Europe next month and will have a plethora of new faces on that trip. It is no secret that they are looking to bolster their attack going into next season. But that is just one department, as they are also intent on adding strength and depth to their defence. One position that is reportedly earmarked for that is the left-back berth. As it stands, Chiefs have Bradley Cross, Happy Mashiane. Edmilson Dove has recently been released while Bongani Sam is tipped to follow. Although they're set to welcome former Orlando Pirates star Paseka Mako, Chiefs are also in talks with other options. This publication reported earlier this month that they had opened negotiations with Aphiwe Baliti of SuperSport United. Just when those negotiations started taking centre stage, the club moved on another target. According to FARPost , Chiefs have reached an agreement to sign Portuguese-based left-back Nkanyiso Shinga! 'Kaizer Chiefs have reached an agreement with Portuguese top-flight club FC Alverca to sign Nkanyiso Shinga. The transfer is pending a medical examination and the finalisation of personal terms. The club first engaged Shinga late last year. However, following Alverca's promotion to the Primeira Liga, closing the deal became more difficult. The Alverca do Ribatejo-based club was also eager to extend his contract. Shinga, who has been in Portugal for seven years, had a year left on his contract with the newly promoted side, which was set to expire in June 2026. The club first engaged Shinga late last year. Chiefs Push For Major Move Amid Stadium Relocation Rumors
Chiefs Push For Major Move Amid Stadium Relocation Rumors originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There are several teams dealing with matters related to stadium transformation or relocation. The Buffalo Bills will move into their new location in Orchard Park, New York, next season while the Cincinnati Bengals made progress on Thursday to remain at their stadium long term. Advertisement Meanwhile there is another prominent AFC franchise in the realm of stadium real estate. There have been rumors circulating about the Kansas City Chiefs' interest in relocation which now have some legs after a development on Thursday. The Chiefs requested an extension to a June deadline for a financing package from the state of Kansas. This means the possibility of the team moving across state lines from Missouri could become a very real thing in the coming months. Team president Mark Donovan campaigned for the extension in a letter to the Kansas Senate, noting that the team has made "significant progress" on plans for a new stadium, per The Associated Press. "Together... we have the opportunity to bring the National Football League to Kansas, anchored by a world-class domed stadium, new team headquarters, a state-of-the-art practice facility, and a vibrant mixed-use and entertainment district," Donovan wrote in the letter. Advertisement The proposal will be considered at the Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council meeting on July 7. From there a determination will be made on an extension. The Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council is scheduled to meet July 7 to consider extending the incentive deadline. "The letter from Mark Donovan indicates that the drive to bring this historic project to Kansas is moving down the field," Kansas Senate president Ty Masterson said. "Now that we are in the red zone, this extension will provide stakeholders sufficient time to ensure the ball crosses the goal line." This comes on the heels of voters shutting down a sales tax extension that would financed a near billion-dollar renovation project at Arrowhead Stadium. A new domed stadium would streamline more revenue opportunities for the franchise though it would come at the cost of a decades long stay at Truman Sports Complex where the Kansas City Royals MLB franchise is also based.
