Drill at Chikkamagaluru medical college on Friday

The Chikkamagaluru district administration will hold a drill to check preparedness to handle a hostile situation at Chikkamagaluru Institute of Medical Sciences in the city on Friday.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Chikkamagaluru Deputy Commissioner Meena Nagaraj said the drill – Operation Abhyas - would be held as per the instructions from the State and Central governments. It will be held between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the public to witness the event.
