Chipotle has launched its 'AvoLotto Sweepstakes', offering customers the chance to win a year's supply of free guacamole. To enter, participants must use an interactive 'AvoLotto Lens' on Snapchat to scan a real avocado. The sweepstakes runs until July 30, with up to 1,000 winners selected daily, who receive 52 free guacamole codes redeemable via the Chipotle app. The promotion celebrates National Avocado Day on July 31, when Chipotle Rewards members can also get a free guacamole side or topping with any regular-priced entrée. National Avocado Day is on Thursday, July 31 and Chipotle is offering customers a chance to win free guacamole for a year. The restaurant chain said in a July 28 news release it is "bringing avocado aficionados' dreams to life" with a new interactive AR Lens on Snapchat called "AvoLotto Lens" that consumers can use to win 52 codes for free guacamole. From 6 a.m. PT on July 28 to 11:59 p.m. PT on July 30, Chipotle is conducting the "AvoLotto Sweepstakes," which allows Snapchat users to scan real avocados using the "AvoLotto Lens" for a chance to win the grand prize. Chipotle says it teamed up with Snapchat to create the exclusive new AR Lens that recognizes real avocados and rewards 1,000 fans each day during the promotion with "an abundance of free guac rewards." Its restaurants in the U.S. and Canada will start offering a new limited-time Adobe Ranch dip beginning June 17, the company announced Monday. When it becomes available, the new Adobo Ranch will contain adobo peppers, sour cream, and a 'unique blend of herbs and spices,' the company said. 'Ranch has become a cultural phenomenon, especially among Gen Z, who are finding creative ways to enjoy it beyond the traditional salad,' Chipotle chief brand officer Chris Brandt said. 'Our new Adobo Ranch taps into this passion, giving fans a crave-worthy way to customize their Chipotle order with a completely new flavor.' Customers who are members of the Chipotle Rewards program before 11 p.m. local time on June 16 will have the opportunity to get a free side of the Adobo Ranch on June 17 through an offer on their account, according to Chipotle.
