Rent cricket star Chris Lynn's house for $2000/wk

Professional big hitter Chris Lynn has put his luxe, six-bedroom house up for rent for $2000 a week. With Australia bowling out the West Indies for 27 on Day 3 of the third Test in Jamaica, all eyes on the cricket, and the popular batsman's Brisbane pad could be the perfect place for fans to live like a sports star. Lynn, who plays for Queensland and the Adelaide Strikers, paid $1.7m eight years ago for the two-level, six-bedroom home in the upmarket, inner suburb of Windsor. Records show Lynn bought a house in Bokarina late last year for $2.5m, and also owns another property a few doors down the street, which he bought for $1.6m in 2020. Lynn is the highest run-scorer in Big Bash League history and also competes in International League T20 competitions around the world — most recently signing with the Hampshire Hawks. He bought his first investment property in Kedron in 2014, and invested in another house in the same suburb during Covid. He has since sold both properties. The Windsor house was last listed for rent for $2200 a week in October last year. Along with six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and six-car accommodation, the house offers 180 degree views over the suburbs and parts of the city. There are multiple living areas, a games rooms and a feature staircase that leads to the second storey. On the top level is a kitchen, another open-plan living space, a huge master suite, and a terrace. There's also a heated pool with a water feature, and a patio with a retractable awning and outdoor kitchenette, featuring a built-in teppanyaki plate, sink and bar fridge. The home is equipped with security cameras and there's even enough lawn space to play backyard cricket. Lynn and his partner welcomed their first child, Lily, in 2022.
