Chris Selfridge was always flying back to Northern Ireland on Sunday night. He just didn't realise it would be to caddy at The Open Championship.
What was due to be a week off relaxing with his wife and seeing family has now become a work trip after the Castledawson man saw his player, Germany's Matti Schmid, secure literally the final place in the field at Royal Portrush this week by being the third-best finisher not already qualified for The Open at the Scottish Open last week.
