Moment pilot arrested as police storm plane full of shocked passengers
Those onboard were left stunned after federal agents headed into the plane's cockpit just moments after it landed. This is the moment when police arrested a pilot over alleged child abuse images after storming a plane full of passengers. Those onboard were left stunned after federal agents headed into the Delta plane's cockpit just moments after it landed in San Francisco, California. As reported by the Mirror, the pilot was then arrested over alleged possession of child sex abuse images and later charged by several agencies, including Homeland Security and the Contra Cosa Sheriff's Office. The arrest took place on Delta Flight 2809 shortly after 9.30pm local time on Saturday. Earlier that day the flight left Minneapolis and had its landing delayed due to heavy fog around the airport. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin said the pilot was arrested on charges over child sex abuse materials. First class passenger Sarah Christianson told The San Francisco Chronicle: "A group of people with badges, guns, and different agency vests/markings were pushing their way up through the aisle to the cockpit." Speaking to the outlet, she said that officers"stormed the cockpit, cuffed the co-pilot, arrested him, walked him down the aisle, and ushered him off the plane through the cabin doors located between first and coach." Ms Christianson said passengers were shocked and said the incident was "unnerving." Christianson said in another interview that she was reduced to tears following the ordeal. She added: "It was scary. It was traumatic to watch. As soon as my husband picked me up from baggage claim, I jumped in the car and cried. Because who knows what's happening to that poor person? Why that happened? What did we just see?" Officers remained on the plane to collect the pilots belongings as he was led away. He has not been identified. The Mirror has contacted the Contra Cosa Sheriff's Office for comment. A video showing the moment of the arrest was uploaded to X/Twitter and has been viewed hundreds of millions of times. A JetBlue pilot was arrested on board the plane earlier this year in a separate incident. Jeremy Gudorf, 33, had been due to fly the plane when a routine check of people onboard led to his detention. The warrant for his arrest came from North Carolina and Massachusetts State Police responded to a request to detain Gudorf from US Customs and Border Protection. US State Police have confirmed the arrest took place in February earlier this year.

Delta cockpit raid: Feds arrest pilot moments after landing; linked to child abuse material
A Delta Air Lines pilot was arrested by federal agents moments after landing a commercial flight in San Francisco on Saturday night, leaving passengers and crew stunned. The arrest took place on board Delta Flight 2809, which had just arrived from Minneapolis around 9:35 pm. As the aircraft was preparing to deplane, approximately ten federal agents, including officers from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), boarded the aircraft and headed straight for the cockpit. 'A group of people with badges, guns, and different agency vests/markings were pushing their way upthrough the aisle to the cockpit,' said passenger Sarah Christianson, speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle. The agents then 'stormed the cockpit, cuffed the co-pilot, arrested him, walked him down the aisle, and ushered him off the plane,' another passenger recounted. Following the dramatic arrest, another team boarded the plane to retrieve the pilot's bags, as per the New York Post. Christianson described the incident as 'shocking and unnerving.' She added, 'It was rage-inducing to see someone being disappeared right in front of me.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas Prices In Dubai Might Be More Affordable Than You Think Villas In Dubai | Search Ads Get Quote Undo The second pilot on board, according to Christianson, appeared just as confused by the situation as the passengers and told them he was unaware of what had transpired. According to Fox News, the pilot was taken into custody on charges related to child sexual abuse material. HSI, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security's ICE division, has not confirmed further details, including whether the pilot's immigration status played any role, the New York Post reported. While the circumstances of this particular arrest are still unclear, HSI has previously been involved in high-profile workplace raids across the US targeting undocumented immigrants, often at farms, factories, and construction sites. The Saturday night incident, however, stands out for its timing, location, and the serious criminal nature of the charges involved.

Delta Airlines pilot arrested by ICE agents moments after landing plane at San Francisco airport
A Delta Airlines pilot was detained by federal agents just moments after landing a plane at a California airport — shocking passengers and plane crew alike. The pilot was arrested on board Delta Flight 2809 around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, just as the aircraft touched down in San Francisco from Minneapolis and was preparing to deplane, according to a local report. Before anybody could leave, about 10 federal agents — including officers from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) — boarded the full plane, then 'stormed the cockpit, cuffed the co-pilot, arrested him, walked him down the aisle, and ushered him off the plane,' one alarmed passenger who saw the whole ordeal said. After the pilot was led away by the entourage of officers, another group came to cart his bags away. Exactly why the pilot was arrested remains unclear. HSI is a division of the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and has helped lead many of the immigration raids and arrests since President Trump began rolling out a mass crackdown on illegal immigrants. Christianson called the incident 'shocking and unnerving.' HSI has not clarified why the pilot was arrested or whether his immigrant status had anything to do with it, and did not respond to a request for comment at the time of publication. In recent months, farms, factories and construction sites around the country have seen raids in the middle of the workday, with employees hauled off for deportation.

Delta co-pilot arrested at SFO after federal agents ‘stormed the cockpit'
A Delta Air Lines co-pilot was reportedly arrested by federal agents Saturday night, moments after Flight 2809 from Minneapolis landed at San Francisco International Airport. The Boeing 737-300 touched down at approximately 9:35 p.m. after a delayed second approach due to heavy fog. What began as a routine deplaning quickly turned chaotic, according to eyewitness accounts. 'A group of people with badges, guns, and different agency vests/markings were pushing their way up through the aisle to the cockpit,' passenger Sarah Christianson said in an email to the Chronicle. Seated in first class, Christianson said she counted at least 10 law enforcement officers, including agents from Homeland Security Investigations and people identifying as air marshals. The officers reportedly 'stormed the cockpit, cuffed the copilot, arrested him, walked him down the aisle, and ushered him off the plane through the cabin doors located between first and coach.' A second team of agents returned shortly after to retrieve the co-pilot's personal belongings. 'It was rage-inducing to see someone being disappeared right in front of me,' she added. Delta Air Lines declined to comment, referring inquiries to the Department of Homeland Security, which has not yet responded. The remaining pilot appeared unaware of the arrest, telling passengers he had 'no idea what just happened.' The reason for the arrest has not been disclosed.
