What Will Happen to Netflix Shares After Q2 Earnings? Netflix's $10.5 billion revenues in the first quarter marked a 13% increase from the same period last year. Its earnings per share (EPS) reached $6.61, a 25% rise year over year. These results followed the company's strong revenue and EPS growth in the fourth quarter, which exceeded investor expectations. Netflix anticipates that this positive trend will continue into the second quarter. The streaming giant predicts revenues of $11.04 billion, a 15.4% increase from the previous year. Its projected EPS is $7.03, up 44.1% from last year. Additionally, the company projects operating margins to rise from 27.2% in the second quarter of 2024 to 33.3%. Furthermore, Netflix's trailing four-quarter earnings surprise averages a positive 6.9%, suggesting the company could deliver second-quarter growth that might boost its stock price. However, based on the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, Netflix trades at 49.62 times forward earnings compared to the Broadcast Radio and Television industry's forward earnings multiple of 35.79. This suggests that there is room for further growth. Therefore, investors should ignore short-term price fluctuations after the second-quarter earnings release. Fearne Cotton's injury that felt like 'a lit match' to her toe
TV star Fearne Cotton, 43, has avoided one common injury for her entire life—until yesterday Fearne Cotton told fans she suffered a painful but common injury for the first time yesterday. While the 43-year-old initially thought people were overreacting about its severity, she now realises just how wrong that was. "So somehow I have managed to walk around on planet Earth for 43 years without ever being stung by a wasp or a bee," she told her fans in an Instagram Story. "I'm not sure how, like, I remember my cousin, Jess, being stung multiple times in his back garden in Pinner back in the day. I somehow avoided it. Until today. I got stung by a wasp." The TV star explained that she accidentally trod on the wasp while barefoot. It stung her on the toe next to her little toe. She continued: "F*** me, it hurt. It was like someone had taken a lit match to my toe. It was so bad, and I now get it because before I thought, 'Are people being a bit dramatic?' "Oh my God, it really hurt, and yes, I am listening to Tracy Chapman, don't judge. Oh my god, it hurt, so I've ticked that off the old life list." Adding to her troubles, Fearne's beesting incident occurred just a week after she had a cartoonish fall while running. In a separate Instagram post, she admitted she felt completely 'overwhelmed', but a wonderful stranger came to her aid and shared a crucial piece of advice. "I just went on a run and I fell over," she said at the time. "I do not know how I fell over. I was running, and then one minute I was just on the floor. Sort of landed on my shoulder, it was like a proper cartoon fall. I've managed to also cut my knee like a sort of kid in the playground and I basically sort of fell into this poor woman who was just walking by." Despite the mishap, Fearne said this stranger took a moment to help. She continued: "She said, 'Sit on the wall, you are in shock.' And then she said, 'Just go home and have a cup of tea.' And I thought, 'Do you know what? Yeah. What the f*** am I doing?' "Like, all of you lot, I am overstretched, overwhelmed, overtired. And, there's so much out there about motivation, like, 'Push a bit harder, you should be doing more, get out of bed and do this and do that.' "And actually, I think most of us need the opposite. We are all so full to the brim, and we just need to go home and have a cup of tea." Although Fearne cut her leg, she confessed she was most upset about the big hole in her 'brand new leopard print Peloton leggings'." This honest revelation also comes just months after Fearne discovered two tumours in her jaw. Thankfully, these tumours were not cancerous, but their position near a nerve required them to be removed. In December, Fearne said: "I've got a benign tumour just in my jaw here, below my ear, another little tiny one above it. I'm very grateful they're benign, but they do need to come out because they're on a nerve. "So I'm gonna have that surgery, and then I'm gonna be resting to get better before Christmas. Not very good at resting, so wondering how that's gonna go. But I'm feeling OK about it. I'm going into the operation feeling good and well." Cleveland Clinic explains that benign tumors are clusters of abnormal cells that 'multiply more than they should and don't die'. Types of benign tumours include adenomas, fibroids, and lipomas, which can develop in various parts of the body. Typically, benign tumour growth goes unnoticed and rarely causes serious medical issues unless it presses against nearby tissues, organs, or, in Fearne's case, nerves.

Houston Texans 2025 schedule release: Everything to know The 2025 NFL season is still months away, but we'll soon know exactly when the Houston Texans will be facing their opponents. The Texans have the 25th-ranked schedule in the league this year (by strength of schedule), so it should feel like a cakewalk for a third division title under DeMeco Ryans and quarterback C.J. Stroud if the offense can remain competitive. On top of facing their AFC South opponents twice, the Texans must also take on the AFC West, the NFC West, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the first-place teams in the AFC, including rematcheds with the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. Here's what you need to know about the Texans' 2025 schedule release. Buy Houston Texans tickets for 2025 When will the Houston Texans' 2025 schedule be released? The NFL will release the full 2025 schedule at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Who do the Houston Texans play at home in 2025? The Texans will play their usual three AFC South rivals — the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. The divisional rotations have them playing against the AFC West and NFC West. From the NFC, Houston welcomes both the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, which is expected to be midway through the year. The Texans will also take on the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders as part of their homestands. After only having eight home games last season, Houston will receive a ninth in 2025, meaning it'll play host to the Buccaneers and Bills. Last season, Houston bested the Bills in Week 5 as a revenge game for then-Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs. The Texans also defeated Baker Mayfield's Buccaneers' in 2023 as time expired on a touchdown pass from Stroud to Tank Dell. Who do the Houston Texans play on the road in 2025? The Texans, again, make their usual road trips to divisional rivals Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Nashville. The AFC West road opponents for them include a trip to SoFi Stadium for a rematch of last year's wild-card round against the Los Angeles Chargers. Houston also will travel back to Arrowhead for the third time in 15 months to take on the Chiefs.. The NFC West road trips awaiting them features a return trip to Los Angeles to take on the Rams and a shot up to the Pacific Northwest to take on Seattle. Houston also will have a rematch of last Christmas' beatdown against the Ravens, only this time the game will take place at M&T Bank Stadium. Which leads to the next question. Will the Houston play on any 2025 holidays? Right now, it feels unlikely. Unless one of the matchups between Kansas City or Baltimore falls on Sunday Night Football come Thanksgiving weekend, Houston is likely set with a normal schedule this season. That might benefit the two-time AFC South champions since last year, they had two days of rest after facing the Chiefs on Saturday night before a showdown with the Ravens on Christmas afternoon. Once again, the NFL announced there will be two Christmas games broadcast exclusively on Netflix. Those games will be played in the afternoon. Amazon will host a Thursday Night Football game that Christmas evening, so that's an option. While unofficial, Houston could land one of these Christmas games, but it seems unlikely to happen for a second season. But, wait, there's more. Peacock will exclusively broadcast a Saturday prime-time game on Dec. 27. That could make sense for a showdown between two contending AFC teams, especially if there's a decline in play across the league at this point in the year. Will the Houston Texans play any international games in 2025? The Texans aren't currently scheduled to play an international game this season. And unless the league waits to announce that the Texans vs. Chargers matchup will take place in Week 1 in Brazil, every other spot is filled for 2025. What are NFL's rules on flex scheduling?
