Firearm pointed at woman; 13-year-old charged: WPS

A 13-year-old boy has been charged after Windsor police said he pointed a firearm at a woman at a park in Walkerville. Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called with a report of a weapon in the 1200 block of Langlois Avenue. The suspect was identified as a 13-year-old boy, who turned himself in to police on Sunday. He is now charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon. The firearm hasn't been recovered by police. It's not known if it was real or an imitation weapon. The investigation is ongoing. Person of interest in deadly Orange Mound shooting identified

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A photo has been released of a person of interest in a shooting that killed a man at a convenience store in Orange Mound last week. On June 2, officers say they responded to a shooting call at Save-A-Stop 1 on 1461 Pendleton Street, where a man was found on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Second arrest made in Hickory Hill gas station shooting Investigators say video footage showed the man was involved in a verbal argument with a man, later identified as 'Ray Ray', before the shooting. They say the video captured 'Ray Ray' going around to the south side of the store, which was out of camera view. The victim is then seen walking around the corner of the store with an unidentified woman wearing a green shirt and black pants, also walking the same way as 'Ray Ray.' After the shooting, police say 'Ray Ray' was seen getting into a white, 4-door Chrysler 300 with a black hood, and leaving the scene going westbound on Deadrick Avenue. The unidentified woman was seen running northbound on Pendleton Street. No arrests have been made at this time. But this is still an ongoing investigation.
