Chicago Police Department arrests woman accused of stealing Prevea Health shuttle van in Green Bay, vehicle unfound
CHICAGO, Ill. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department says it is no longer searching for a carjacking suspect who on Tuesday morning. According to the release, the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Jerilyn Soto of Keshena, was arrested in Chicago with the help of the Chicago Police Department. Update given on man recovered from Fox River, no foul play suspected Soto allegedly stole the van at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center by forcing a Prevea Health employee to exit the vehicle while holding them at knifepoint. The vehicle has not yet been recovered and is still being searched for. The van is a dark gray 2022 Chrysler Pacifica with Wisconsin license plate No. 35729AFT. It has a white triangular topper that reads 'Prevea Health Patient Shuttle' and a listed phone number of 615-0985. Nobody is believed to be injured. The release added the following statement from the Green Bay Police Department: 'The Green Bay Police Department would like to recognize the Chicago Police Department, our surrounding local law enforcement agencies, Prevea Health, HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center, and members of the general public for their valuable assistance and cooperation in this case.' Green Bay Police searching for suspect who allegedly stole Prevea Health shuttle
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department is actively searching for a carjacking suspect who reportedly stole a Prevea Health shuttle on Tuesday morning. According to the release, the van was stolen from HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center. The suspect is believed to be a 46-year-old woman named Jerilyn Soto of Keshena. Wisconsin Supreme Court clears the way for a conversion therapy ban to be enacted Police say that officers were sent to 1726 Shawano Avenue around 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday after a Prevea Health employee reported that they were approached by a woman with a knife and ordered to exit the vehicle. The van is a dark gray 2022 Chrysler Pacifica with Wisconsin license plate No. 35729AFT. It has a white triangular topper that says 'Prevea Health Patient Shuttle' and a listed phone number of 615-0985. Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue receives $200k in state funding to support improvement project No injuries have been reported at this time, as officers are working with surrounding agencies to locate the vehicle, which Soto is believed to have driven outside of the Green Bay area. Increase in Windsor-built vehicle sales
Despite production pauses over the last couple of months, FCA Canada, formerly known as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, is reporting another increase in sales for Windsor-built vehicles. The company says over 4,000 Chrysler Pacifica vans were sold between April and June - double the roughly 2,000 vehicles sold during the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, sales of the Windsor-built Chrysler Grand Caravan saw an 11 per cent dip this quarter compared to last year. The new Windsor-made Dodge Charger Daytona saw a major drop, with only two vehicles sold this quarter, compared to 48 vehicles sold last April to June. The news comes following alternating layoffs at the Windsor Assembly Plant throughout May and June.
