Oasis stars' children show unbreakable bond with 'photo of the century'
Liam and Noel Gallagher's kids look more united than ever as they support their famous fathers on stage, with the family coming together for a photo opportunity The Gallagher clan has shown their bond is unbreakable as Oasis returned to their hometown for their Manchester gigs this weekend. Just last week, Liam Gallagher, 52, and his elder brother Noel Gallagher, 58, launched their much-anticipated reunion tour, rocking the stage in Cardiff to the delight of thousands of devoted fans, while those who missed out on tickets tuned in via TikToks and livestreams. This concert marked the first time the quarrelling brothers have shared a stage since their break up in 2009, with their months-long global tour now predicted to net them a cool £50million each. But before jetting off to Asia, Australia, and South America, Liam and Noel are set to entertain their Mancunian fans, with their children cheering them on through every tune. Ahead of the inaugural Manchester show at Heaton Park, Gene Gallagher, Liam's 24 year old son, shared a photo on social media that sent Oasis fans into a frenzy. Posing backstage, Gene was accompanied by his brother Lennon, 25, Noel's daughter Anais, 25, and his sons Donovan, 17, and Sonny, 14. In the middle of them was Spanish football manager Pep Guardiola, 54, who likely received VIP treatment given Noel's long-standing support for Man City, which Guardiola has been managing since 2016. They all stood grinning, arms draped around each other, drinks in hand, and VIP lanyards hanging around their necks. Gene, who boasts a following of 270k on Instagram, cheekily captioned his post: "Pic of the century alright now everyone els f**k off". Gene's mum, Nicole Appleton, responded to the post with a smiley face and a heart emoji, while her sister, Natalie, commented: "Fabulous photo!! Cousins" with a heart emoji too. One fane wrote: 'you're right this is the pic of the year', while another hailed the snap as 'Legendary!' as a third expressed: 'This brings joy to my heart.' Several followers also noticed Gene's outfit choice, as one said: 'Is it only me that realise that gene is wearing liam flanel when he played at mainedroad 1996'. Another tweeted: 'THE MAINE ROAD JACKET YES' with a fire emoji. This comes after just last week, Gene and Anais, were spotted belting out the lyrics to Oasis songs in a sweet moment shared online. While Oasis were performing Cigarettes & Alcohol, Gene and Anais went all out as they danced and sang along to the popular track. In a moment filmed for the camera, the two leaned towards each other as they screamed out the chorus. Fans were obsessed with the sweet moment, with one fan sharing the video online and writing: "Anaïs and gene you're so real for this," while another fan said: "Oh i love them so much." "Awe love this," one user commented while another joked about the VIP section they were standing in: "Thought they'd be closer to the front!" After Oasis' first performance on Friday, Anais shared her review of the reunion gig as she shared a snap of herself, holding a pint while sporting an Oasis shirt as she watched her dad and uncle perform on stage. Giving a review of the special night, Anais, 25, captioned the snap: "It's good to be back."

Oasis setlist in full and stage times after Gallagher brothers' UK tour continu
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video It's official – Oasis are back, and their first gigs in 16 years have been met with acclaim from fans, without any drama from the once-feuding brothers. Noel Gallagher, 58, and younger brother Liam Gallagher, 52, hadn't performed together since their 2009 split, meaning the world was, quite literally, sent into a frenzy last August when they confirmed the guns had 'fallen silent'. After a lengthy wait, the siblings kicked off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with Noel Gallagher reduced to 'tears' by the iconic moment. The brothers took to social media with a teaser of the stage, complete with an epic drone light show, ahead of that historic gig. With an international tour following their sold-out UK run, we're certain Oasis Live '25 has got plenty to give. So, what songs are on the setlist and what time do they hit the stage? The brothers aptly open their first show in 16 years with Hello – the first song on their second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? After that, it's fan-favourite tune Acquiesce and then Morning Glory, with the first half also including tunes Cigarettes & Alcohol, Supersonic, Roll With It, and Half the World Away. Hello Acquiesce Morning Glory Some Might Say Bring it on down Cigarettes & Alcohol Fade Away Supersonic Roll With It Talk Tonight (Noel sings) Half the World Away (Noel sings) Little by Little (Noel sings) D'You Know What I Mean Stand By Me Cast No Shadow Slide Away Whatever Live Forever Rock and Roll Star The Masterplan (Noel sings) Don't Look Back in Anger (Noel sings) Wonderwall Champagne Supernova Oasis are expected to sing 23 songs in total at each show based on the first setlist from July 4's show. Although who knows with these two. The latter part of the concert includes Rock and Roll Star, The Masterplan, Don't Look Back in Anger, and, of course, Wonderwall. Ending on a high, the brothers will close with Champagne Supernova, also the closing track on the band's second studio album, having saved their most popular tunes til the end. Oasis started their Cardiff show around 8:15pm. Before their set, Richard Ashcroft of the Verve took to the stage at 7pm to warm up the crowd with bangers, including Bittersweet Symphony. Well, bangers for most people – one woman was spotted Shazaming the iconic tune in the middle of the crowd. Sticking to the rules and behaving (for now), the concert was wrapped up minutes before the 10:30pm curfew of the stadium. Speaking just before the first show, a source hinted that Noel and Liam are still keeping some distance despite being on the road together. 'It's all gearing up now,' they began. 'Technical rehearsals for the band started on Monday, and then Noel and Liam joined them a couple of days later. 'But Liam barely even stayed for the first eight songs before leaving the rehearsals early, and Noel continued on his own.' Nevertheless, fans are absolutely beside themselves with excitement, as the responses to their X teaser video make clear. The official Oasis account previously shared further details about the structure of the night for the first tour show. Doors will open at 5pm before support acts Cast and Richard Ashcroft perform at 6pm and 7pm, respectively. Oasis will take to the stage at 8:15pm with a 10:30pm curfew, promising over two hours of music. The group will play 19 shows in the UK and Ireland this year before heading across Europe, with tickets sold to 900,000 fans. However, to say it's been smooth sailing getting here would be false. At the end of May, it was claimed that Noel and Liam still hadn't rehearsed together, with Liam also avoiding studio time with fellow performers Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Mikey Rowe. Instead, Liam, who is set to become a grandfather for the first time in a matter of months, has been chilling at his £4million mansion in the South of France with his girlfriend, Debbie Gwyther. Oh, and he's also been tweeting… Just this week, the singer offended a large number of South Korean Oasis fans by tweeting the phrase 'chingchong'. 'Chingchong' (believed to have originated in the 19th century) is understood as an offensive or derogatory phrase that's used to mock or denigrate East Asian languages. While usually intended to insult people who speak Chinese languages, it has also been applied towards languages and speakers from Japan and South Korea. Liam deleted the post shortly after and responded nonchalantly with 'Whatever' when one user warned he might get cancelled. It's believed Oasis will generate a whopping £400million in ticket sales and add-ons, just from their initial dates. As for their take-home pay, Noel and Liam are thought to be getting £50million each. More Trending But for those gutted to have missed out on tickets, have no fear, because after a disastrous first sale, the group announced last week that more tickets could become available. 'Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned,' a statement read. 'These final production releases will happen over the coming days. Liam Gallagher's awkward rant slamming 'part time rock stars' resurfaces
Liam Gallagher has never minced his words, and an interview has resurfaced of him hitting out at musicians who bagged a quick pay cheque before he and Noel Gallagher reunited Liam Gallagher slammed musicians who are "in it for the money". The comments were made by the Mancunian legend years before he and his older brother, Noel Gallagher, reunited as Oasis. Last weekend, the 52-year-old and Noel, 58, reunited on stage for the first time in 16 years, just shy of a year after they announced their long-running feud had come to an end and they were bringing the legendary band back. But after their first performance at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Liam immediately exited the venue by car, with Noel leaving a little later on. It's claimed that both brothers are set to rake in around £50million each from the tour, which sold out in hours. Fans were left paying thousands after Ticketmaster introduced dynamic pricing, a surge in costs due to the huge demand. However, the band had no input in this. But in 2017, while appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Liam took a subtle swipe at fellow musicians. The singer, who is not shy when it comes to saying what's really on his mind, said: "A lot of these rock n' roll stars these days are coming in and just getting the cheque, do you know what I mean? "Imagine Keith Moon drumming his a**e off and then going home. You need to boot a few things and that, know what I mean?" Despite their once frosty bond, Noel and Liam settled their differences and left fans emotional when they walked on stage, holding hands – a sight many thought they would never see. This weekend, they return to their hometown for the first home show since 2009. Oasis will play five sold-out shows at Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20. Each night, they will be performing to around 80,000 fans. But before the band take to the stage, Liam could face a very rocky reception. The frontman urged all fans at both Cardiff gigs to turn around and bounce up and down during the anthem Cigarettes & Alcohol. He said on Saturday: "I don't ask you to do the Mexican wave or sh*t like that, but I want you to do the Poznan so everyone turn around and put your hands on each other. It's 2025, don't be shy. When the tunes start, you jump up and down, it's very easy, you don't need GCSEs." Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! And he also posted a clip of the Poznan on his official social media with his comments from Friday night where he similarly said: "I want you to do the Poznan, so turn around and put your hands on each other." However, the Poznan is a move used by Manchester City fans and he and Noel face performing in front of thousands of rival Manchester United fans this weekend. One music source told the Mirror: "Liam loves seeing the crowd do it, but it will be a higher risk strategy at Heaton Park. It will be no surprise if he does do it or gives City a shout-out on stage because he and Noel are such big fans. Bonehead is the only red (United fan) in the line-up." viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Oasis fans are only just finding out Liam Gallagher's real name and they can't believe it
Liam and Noel Gallagher have reunited after 16 years and fans are only now discovering Liam's real name. Liam Gallagher's real name has taken fans by surprise as the Oasis brothers reunited after 16 years. Over the weekend, Liam and Noel Gallagher returned to stage for their highly anticipated reunion tour, while the focus was on their comeback - many fans were shocked to discover that Liam isn't actually the singer's real name. As thousands chanted their names at the sold-out Principality Stadium in Cardiff, few realised that "Liam" is actually just a nickname - his full name is William John Paul Gallagher. The Oasis legend was raised as "Liam" by his Irish parents, Thomas and Peggy - a common Irish shortening of William. His middle names, John and Paul, are a clear tribute to The Beatles, who inspired the Gallagher brothers' iconic sound, the Mirror reports. Liam and Noel made history as they stepped onto the stage hand in hand, greeted by deafening cheers from more than 75,000 fans who had waited nearly two decades for the long-awaited reunion. On the second night, Liam let go of Noel's hand and even bowed to him, prompting an eruption of chants and flying pints as they launched into Hello. The duo maintained a united front throughout the weekend, but behind the scenes they're reportedly staying separately to avoid any potential conflicts. A source said: 'They don't want to over-expose themselves to each other having separate residences is the best option so they can relax in their own space. They stayed in separate locations outside the city around half an hour away from each other.' Liam and Noel are playing 'happy families at the moment' and reportedly want to keep it that way. Both brothers are said to have changed their lifestyles to make it through the tour, with Liam ditching booze and getting eight hours' of sleep every night. Kicking off the tour, Liam shouted: "Manchester vibes in the area!" before singing into Hello, followed by Acquiesce and Morning Glory. At one point he sarcastically told the crowd: "I see you're all on the glue still down there!' Later, he had everyone link arms and "bounce" along to Cigarettes & Alcohol. As the brothers performed, emotional family photos of their parents, Peggy and Tommy, and glimpses of their Manchester childhood lit up the big screens while Stand By Me played. Later Liam joked: "Are you having a good time? Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?" - a cheeky swipe at the controversy over skyrocketing prices, which ranged from £74.25 to £506.25 for pre-show events. Throughout their sets, touching images of the Gallagher family home, baby photos of Liam and Noel, and vintage black-and-white snapshots of Peggy and Tommy appeared on screen, adding a nostalgic backdrop to the emotional performance. The brothers wrapped up their long-awaited reunion with an encore of Wonderwall, taking a moment to thank fans for their unwavering support and sticking with them during the past 16 years. Liam told the crowd: "Thanks for putting up with us over the years. We're hard work. We get it." Before they finished with the legendary Champagne Supernova, bringing the house down.
