Hollyoaks star leaves soap months after joining and he's already filmed VERY dramatic exit
A HOLLYOAKS star has left the soap - just months after joining the cast in a very dramatic exit. Actor Zachary Sutcliffe made his debut on the soap last month as the serial killer Bobby Costello. He returned after escaping from the juvenile detention centre where he was being held following the murder of his own great grandfather - and serial killer - Silas Blissett. Silas had been determined to terrorise and kill Bobby's mum Mercedes but at the last minute Bobby turned on him and pushed him onto his own fatal trap. Viewers watched as Bobby broke out of the youth prison to reunite with mum Mercedes, before Myra accidentally let slip he was out and caused the police to hunt him. He fled the village but was found by Clare Devine who spotted an opportunity to take her revenge on Mercedes - and make some money in her family business. And it's only going to get darker - but it will also mean the exit of Zachary as Bobby. A source said: 'Bobby might be a killer but he has no idea who he's dealing with with Clare. 'He thinks she's helping him but the truth is much worse and she's got plans to sell him in her sickening exploitation ring to make money. 'Zachary's stint on the show as always going to be a short stint as Bobby is caught between Clare and Mercedes. 'He's filmed his exit scenes and they are definitely going to shock. 'It's full-on Hollyoaks drama.' Hollyoaks has been contacted for comment. Later this year the Channel 4 soap will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a month-long celebration including a major stunt and a battle between two of the show's biggest villains.

Hollyoaks confirms return story for Tom Cunningham - and its very unexpected
Shy of just one year since he left the village, Hollyoaks legend Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) is back – and let's just say that his return story might take you by surprise. Last August, Tom – with half-sister Cindy (Stephanie Waring) in tow – made a swift escape after learning that Dave Williams (Dominic Power) was none other fearsome gangster Blue. With a one-year time jump employed afterwards, it's been two years since he last set foot in the eponymous village but, with the Channel 4 soap's 30th anniversary rapidly approaching, it's safe to say that bringing him back for the occasion was a must . What's more, with his sworn nemesis Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) back from the dead after 12 years, having Tom miss out on a reunion with the scheme queen would have been a missed opportunity to say the least. But just what has Tom been up to and what brings him back? Well, this is where things get interesting because the former market owner, who is known for his insistence on doing everything by the book and following instructions down to a T, is in prison. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Upcoming scenes will see Tom get in touch with Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) – who is investigating the death of DI Banks (Drew Cain) – to offer him some information on Clare. Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey), meanwhile, is pressured by Clare to murder Tom! More Trending It seems we're in for yet another chapter of this thrilling Tom and Clare rivalry. The question is: just who will come out victorious? That remains to be seen but it seems that Clare – or should I say Rex – is the one with the upper hand as, towards the end of next week, the gangster spots Tom alone and friendless in the prison yard and decides to make his move. But will he succeed? View More » Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4's streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4 . Hollyoaks villain Clare Devine in darkest ever plot as she gets shock new love interest
HOLLYOAKS is launching baddie Clare Devine's darkest ever plot - as she gets a shock new love interest. The soap villain - played by Gemma Bissix - returned earlier this year despite having been previously killed off. 4 4 4 In a shock scheme, Claire claims she is diagnosed with cancer - and her treatment is not working. It's a ploy to manipulate her way back into daughter Tori's (Harriet O'Shea) life. She hatched the plot following a hospital trip to visit sister Grace Black (Tamara Wall). After seeing patients receive treatment, Claire realised she could use this to her advantage. It comes as an unlikely spark seemingly forms between Clare and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac). Dodger has been firmly opposed to Clare due to her role in the exploitation scheme orchestrated by her ex-husband DI Banks (Drew Cain). However, he softens his stance upon learning of Clare's alleged cancer situation. With the undercover cop falling for her deceit, Clare moves on to the next stage of her plan. Namely, making Dodger feel guilty over taking Tori away from Clare - given her current "poor health". Hollyoaks star quits after nine years - and his final scenes have already aired After accomplishing this, the pair then share a heart-to-heart, as Clare says she'd believed her husband was having an affair, not leading an exploitation ring. The two continue to grow close - despite Dodger's sister Sienna (Anna Passey) warning him to steer clear from Clare. Later, the ever-resourceful Clare devises a sneaky plan to get Dodger to her flat - as he apologises for thinking she was involved with her husband's crimes. Feeling like he's falling for Clare, Dodger starts to worry if lines are becoming blurred. As their chemistry intensifies, will Dodger be able to see through her lies? A source said: "Clare's done some pretty bad things in her time but faking cancer is one of the worst. From Hollyoaks to Hollywood James Corden played a caretaker in the early days of the soap. After leaving the soap Ricky cracked America starring in teen drama The 100 and America Gods. He also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing in 2009. Hollyoaks boss reveals dramatic 30th anniversary stunt and major storyline for huge month of celebration
TWO titans will go head to head, a stunt will kick off and there's going to be a big shock for fans SOAP SHOCK Hollyoaks boss reveals dramatic 30th anniversary stunt and major storyline for huge month of celebration HOLLYOAKS boss Hannah Cheers has revealed all about the soap's upcoming 30th anniversary, confirming a stunt and huge storyline details. The Channel 4 soap has undergone a huge revival in the last year with boss Hannah at the helm with ratings surging by more than a third. 3 Hollyoaks boss Hannah Cheers has spilled all about the soap's upcoming 30th anniversary Credit: PA 3 Serial killer Jez is set for a face-off against one of Hollyoaks biggest villains Credit: Lime Picturess 3 Clare Devine will be central to the soap's 30th anniversary in October Credit: Lime Pictures The executive producer was forced to make tough decisions to cut the show from five episodes per week to just three - with the episode length slashed further. But after a year of painful decisions and hard work - it has paid off. Hollyoaks was second only to EastEnders at this weekend's British Soap Awards - taking home three gongs. And now the show is heading full speed ahead towards its 30th anniversary in October - and it will be a month-long celebration. Hannah said: 'In that week, we want to make it a celebration across the whole month really because we can't physically fit all of the characters into that. 'So that's why it's kind of becomes a bit more of a challenge in terms of which stories that you really want to hear about and focus on. 'But obviously there just needs to be enough of a sense of nostalgia in terms of Hollyoaks' origin story and everything that we love and know about the show. 'But then also the kind of characters that are going to be able to shake things up and create jeopardy and danger and spit things out in a different way at the end of that. 'And I want it to be where you can't take your eyes off the screen levels of energy, but also with absolutely kind of surprising but searing moments of heartache and good tears, happy tears, sad tears, tears and shock and try and celebrate all things Hollyoaks in a very efficient three by 18 and a half minute format.' And while there won't be a feature-length episode, there will be another shock coming - one fans will love. Clare Devine returns to the village 'There is something else that will be a huge delight and a real nod to Hollyoaks' origin story,' she revealed. 'That will happen in the third episode of the week, which I absolutely cannot talk about, but is going to be incredibly exciting.' Hannah added: 'You can't do a Hollyoaks commemoration without some kind of spectacle. So there will be a stunt.' And more than that Hannah also revealed a huge battle between two Hollyoaks titans will take centre stage for October. Having recently returned from the dead to the village after 12 years, Clare Devine is back to find her missing 'daughter' Tori. However it will soon become clear that Tori - the biological daughter of serial killer Nico Blake - is wanted by her birth family, the Blakes too. And that's set to pit Clare against serial killer Jez Blake in the run up to the big anniversary. From Hollyoaks to Hollywood James Corden played a caretaker in the early days of the soap. The former American TV host doesn't have much positive to say about his time on the soap, claiming it was "hell on earth."
