It is an experience hauntingly familiar to the Class of 2020, who collected their diplomas just as a pandemic was turning the global economy upside down. To let them compare notes, trade tips and simply commiserate, The Wall Street Journal recently tapped five members of each class, then got all 10 talking in a weeklong group chat. They discussed everything from getting hired to finding mentors to deciphering the corporate world. Barely into the conversation, one of the 2025 grads got some bad news. The actor adds that though she 'hadn't contracted Covid-19 during the pandemic' four years ago, she did witness her 'father's struggle with it, before eventually losing him due to Coronavirus'. Joyita adds that her current situation brings back the pain and memories of that 'challenging phase'. Sharing how she was diagnosed with Covid-19, she says, 'I thought it was common cold due to weather change, but my fever increased to 102°F. I also had severe joint pain and diarrhoea.' The actor says she panicked after seeing her test results, but her doctor reassured her of recovery: 'I am in strict isolation at home. Covid-19 doesn't just cause physical pain, but it also significantly impacts mental well-being and your professional life.' Former Ohio State wide receiver seriously injured, girlfriend killed in ATV crash

BRADFORD COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WCMH) — Former Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured and his girlfriend was killed in a serious ATV crash on May 23. Fleming, 24, and his 23-year-old girlfriend Alyssa Boyd were traveling on an ATV in Columbia Township, Pennsylvania when a deer jumped out into the roadway and the vehicle crashed. According to the crash report, Fleming was driving the ATV and was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The report said Boyd was pronounced dead on scene. Officers said neither Boyd nor Fleming was wearing protective gear during the accident, and a dead deer was found nearby consistent with the crash. The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Painter Lick Lane in northern Pennsylvania. The Troy Fire Department, Guthrie EMS and Pennsylvania State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialists assisted on scene. The crash is still under investigation, and there is no word on Fleming's injuries. Fleming was the top recruit in ESPN's Class of 2020 out of Southern Columbia in Pennsylvania. He joined the Buckeyes and played through 2023, when he entered the transfer portal and ended his collegiate career at Penn State. In April, he was expected to sign with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent but allegedly failed his physical and was not signed.
