Clementine Ford DEFENDS Abbie Chatfield in extraordinary spray after massive falling out

It appears that the war of words between Abbie Chatfield and Clementine Ford may be coming to an end. The pair have been exchanging barbs for weeks after Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged'. However, the pair have appeared to have found some common ground, with Clementine defending Abbie in an explosive response to an online troll. She shared an image to her Instagram story on Thursday that showed a very off-colour remark by a troll account called 'Right Of Centre'. The comment read: 'Two ugly xx trolls. Men should not help them at all. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'If they're being mugged they're not worth it - too ugly - only good looking nice women deserve chivalry on any level.' Clementine responded swiftly, slamming the commenter as an 'incel creep'. 'Regardless of my views on AC [Abbie Chatfield], I'm pretty sure neither of us need or have ever needed nor have ever asked for men to help us - especially not weird little incel creeps who blame women for their basement position on the male hierarchy,' she said. 'F*** off, loser. We both know you would p*** your pants in fear if one of us even looked in your direction.' Abbie and Clementine's feud began when the latter wrote on her 'Dear Clementine' blog on Substack that some influencers, like Abbie, profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who disagrees with them. Abbie responded with a video post on Instagram in which she called out her online rival. 'She's literally writing a burn book about me and doing insults like "She thinks she's so hot",' Chatfield said. 'What a weirdo - oh my God.' She added: 'Clementine, take a step back from the internet. Take a step back from Reddit please.' Abbie later returned to the platform in tears as the social media feud took a dark turn. She accused Clementine of 'trolling' her, and said it was affecting her mental health and made her feel unsafe. 'Stop saying that I have a personality disorder,' she said. 'You don't know me. This is so f****ing triggering I just want her to stop,' she said. 'It isn't working, you're discouraging others... Please, I'm just trying to do what I can to help. 'I just don't understand why she's so adamant on proving that I'm awful. I don't get it. This is so incredibly stressful and awful what she is doing.' She added she was now aware of 'someone spreading malicious lies about me again and again … because she claims to know my intentions on f***ing everything'. 'I'm scared of her. Please stop, Clementine. I am begging you to stop,' she sobbed. 'F*** off, loser. We both know you would p*** your pants in fear if one of us even looked in your direction.' 'You don't know me at all, you're a stranger. I deal with so much, every single day. I deal with insults every single day. I do not need it from you because you know that when you say it you validate it for people on the left. 'You are f**ing my mental health. Please f***ing stop.' She then posted screenshots of comments made by the writer, calling Abbie an 'idiotic narcissist', 'completely shallow' and a 'deeply basic thinker'. Not yielding to Abbie's pleas, Clementine was quick to fire off another salvo at the FBoy Island host. She shared a screenshot to Instagram of a text conversation between two unnamed people. The first writes: 'I heard you were taking s*** about me.' The second replies with a defiant: 'Do you wanna hear it again or did you get everything?' Above the exchange, Clementine wrote: 'This is the energy I want to be coming into next year with'. It came after Abbie had made another tearful appeal to Clementine to rein back her criticism, saying it was unfair and was a painful addition to the abuse she receives from those who criticise her left-wing politics. 'Been a bit of a rough weekend. Go to my TikTok if you want to know what's going on. I don't want to rehash it, but all I want to say is it's incredibly counterproductive to criticise someone for doing the thing you want them to do,' Abbie said on her It's A Lot podcast. 'It makes no sense and it gives a certain energy that I think we all know.' She then invited questions from her followers and used that for another shot at Clementine. 'We are doing an "ask me anything" as I didn't prep, because contrary to what Clementine Ford says I do prep for my own podcasts but I didn't have time to do that,' Abbie said.

Abbie Chatfield addresses 'very demeaning' backlash from feud with Clementine Ford as she DEFENDS the fellow feminist: 'It's not her fault'

Abbie Chatfield has described the fallout from her very public feud with Clementine Ford as 'demeaning'. The podcaster says the right wing response to her 'cat fight' was disappointing and predictable - but she does not blame the fellow feminist for the backlash. 'It was really hurtful because after that, the right-wing comments came in saying, "Nothing better than a cat fight. Two feminists fighting. You can't even agree with each other." It's very demeaning' Abbie tells Stellar Magazine. 'And that isn't Clementine's fault, but it's something that she should have considered, and that I've considered when I haven't called her out for things that I'd say are deeply damaging.' The 29-year-old added that she's most troubled by comments - from Clementine and other detractors alike - that attack her perceived character and not her politics. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'This idea that because I'm not doing things perfectly, that I'm an idiotic narcissist, I don't know anything, I'm brain dead, I'm a deeply basic thinker – they're just insults. It's not actually critiquing my work' she said. Just last month Ford appeared to have taken another dig at Chatfield as the feminist rivals' online feud rumbled on. The pair have been exchanging barbs since Ford accused Chatfield of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged'. In the recent salvo, Ford took to her Instagram story to make a pointed reference to the stoush. She shared a screenshot of a text conversation between two unnamed people. The first writes: 'I heard you were taking s*** about me.' The second replies with a defiant: 'Do you wanna hear it again or did you get everything?' Above the exchange, Ford wrote: 'This is the energy I want to be coming into next year with'. Chatfield had made a tearful appeal to Ford to rein back her criticism, saying it was unfair and was a painful addition to the abuse she receives from those who criticise her left-wing politics. Speaking on her It's A Lot podcast, Chatfield admitted she had struggled as she reflected on the feud. 'Been a bit of a rough weekend. Go to my TikTok if you want to know what's going on. I don't want to rehash it, but all I want to say is it's incredibly counterproductive to criticise someone for doing the thing you want them to do,' Abbie began. 'What a weirdo - oh my God.' Abbie finished off the clip with a plea to the writer. 'Clementine, take a step back from the internet. Take a step back from Reddit please.' Chatfield later returned to the platform in tears as the social media feud took a dark turn. She accused Ford of 'trolling' her, and said it was affecting her mental health and made her feel unsafe. 'I get it enough from people on the right and trolls and men that hate me and want to threaten me and want me dead. Please stop dehumanising me,' she wept. 'Please, you can criticise my content, you can criticise my work, just - I'm begging you - stop lying about my intentions. 'Stop saying that I have a personality disorder. You don't know me. This is so f****ing triggering I just want her to stop. 'It isn't working, you're discouraging others... Please, I'm just trying to do what I can to help. Call to action put Melbourne Theatre Company in the black

Melbourne Theatre Company defied an 11 per cent fall in box office receipts to post a small surplus in 2024, thanks to an unusual fundraising campaign instigated by its outgoing chair Jane Hansen. But there was no such philanthropic rescue at Victoria's second-largest theatre maker, Malthouse, which annoyed some donors in February 2024 when it hosted a show by anti-Israel activist Clementine Ford, at the same time as Jewish musical Yentl played at its main theatre.

Aussie comedian brutally roasts Clementine Ford and Abbie Chatfield amid their bitter online 'feminist feud'

An Australian comedian has weighed in on the bitter online war of words brewing between Clementine Ford and Abbie Chatfield. The pair of media personalities have been exchanging barbs since online Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged' in the run-up to the Australian Federal Election. Now comedian Lisa Jane Spencer has served a savage takedown of the feminist content creators and it is sending her fans wild. The satirical video, dubbed The Feminist Feud, begins with Lisa, dressed as Clementine, typing her thoughts into her diary. 'Dear Clementine,' she says. 'Today, I'm the best and realest feminist activist in the world, unlike Abbie Chatfield, who thrives on performative activism and prioritises personal gain over actual systemic change.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lisa Jane Spencer (@lisajanespencer) The clip then cuts to parody Clementine deciding what to post to social media to engender the most anger. Lisa then brings out her best Abbie Chatfield, who is seen breaking down in tears and struggling to get her words out. 'Please stop with the character assassination,' parody Abbie says. 'This is so f***ing stop defaming me.' Lisa then appears as a TV news anchor delivering a live bulletin where she says: 'And now a word from everyone that Abbie Chatfield has done the same thing to.' She then says to a producer off camera: 'We don't have enough time? There's too many people that she's done that to?' Parody Clementine is back diarising where she adds: 'Furthermore, if you disagree with her, you're either a troll, unintelligent or jealous,' with a cheeky laugh. Back to parody Abbie, still on the verge of tears, who adds: 'I guess she's just obsessed with me.' 'Obviously, I've got an amazing boyfriend. She's probably just jealous.' The hilarious clip was met with a flurry of comments from fans and those who had been following the online stoush. 'I'm hooked! This is so good!' one excited viewer offered, while another jumped in with: 'The bestest ever battle of the worst binfluencers. Comedic gold.' A third suggested: 'You didn't even have to make any of it up! Great job, but satire may be dead.' The latest development in the online saga came when Clementine wrote on her Dear Clementine blog on Substack that some influencers like Abbie profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who disagrees with them. Abbie responded with a video post on Instagram in which she called out Clementine. 'She's literally writing a burn book about me and doing insults like "She thinks she's so hot",' she said. Fellow Bachelor star Sam Frost claims Abbie Chatfield relentlessly bullied her after she posted a harrowing video about her mental health: 'She attacked me for months and months on end'

Former Bachelor star Sam Frost has called out Abbie Chatfield for relentlessly bullying her in the past. The 36-year-old made the claims by commenting on a video posted by Abbie to Instagram in which she hit back at Clementine Ford for accusing her of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged '. In the video, an emotional Abbie broke down in tears as she begged for the activist to stop 'lying' about her in her Dear Clementine Substack blog. Sam reacted to the post by commenting: 'I don't wish this type of pain or sadness on anyone. I truly wish her the best and hope she heals. I certainly don't support anyone trolling or bullying others.' 'However, perhaps in this moment she can reflect on the time when the shoe was on the other foot. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'When she was the one relentlessly bullying me when I shared a video saying my mental health was suffering,' she continued. 'And she encouraged all of her followers to also bully and hate on me, attacking me for months and months and months.' Abbie publicly come out swinging in a rant about fellow reality TV star Sam back in 2022 after she compared restrictions on the unvaccinated to 'segregation' during the Covid pandemic. 'Why are they acting like she, I don't know, stood up for a feminist issue that was seen extreme at the time but now everyone's like, "Yes she was right"?' Abbie said at the time. 'The more time that goes on, the more proof there is that she was wrong. So why are we now giving her a Stellar cover?' 'Her publicist must be working overtime, like, how did she get that?' Abbie and the feminist writer Clementine have been locked in an ongoing war of words on social media after Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged '. Speaking on her It's A Lot podcast last week, Abbie admitted she was struggling amid the feud. 'I don't wish this type of pain or sadness on anyone. I truly wish her the best and hope she heals. I certainly don't support anyone trolling or bullying others,' Sam commented on the video 'Been a bit of a rough weekend. Go to my TikTok if you want to know what's going on. I don't want to rehash it, but all I want to say is it's incredibly counterproductive to criticise someone for doing the thing you want them to do,' Abbie began. 'It makes no sense and it gives a certain energy that I think we all know.' She went on to say she would be answering questions sent in by listeners before calling out some of Clementine's comments. The online fight left Abbie in tears as she posted a video of herself sobbing and begging for the activist to stop 'lying' about her in the Dear Clementine Substack blog. 'This is getting so old. When are you going to realise that people have opinions that they're allowed to voice on a public platform just like you do every day,' the follower messaged Abbie. 'Tagging people to essentially send your troops in to destroy is not going to fix that problem. Maybe just ignore or block people that you don't agree with.' The follower went on to accuse Abbie of 'using her platform to bully' people she puts on 'blast', calling it 'gross' behaviour. Abbie retaliated by publicly shaming the follower and sharing a screenshot of the DM, including the face and name of the follower, to her Stories. It comes after Abbie hit back at firebrand media commentator Clementine Ford, who claimed she doesn't prepare the content for her podcast 'People are allowed to voice their opinions queen, I'm also allowed to share them! And have my opinion on their opinion,' Abbie captioned the screenshot. 'The irony of you saying people are affected by words on the internet, yet telling me to just get over it and be quiet about it? So it only affects other people, not me?' Moments later, Abbie posted several videos talking about the private message, saying: 'Just a reminder, I'm a human being... All day every day I get negative comments about anything I do.' She added: 'I can't re-share their public comment to my Stories? Because people will go after them? 'If they didn't want to have repercussions for their actions, they shouldn't have commented something negative and weird. 'And if you don't want repercussions for your actions, you shouldn't DM me telling me to feel sorry for the people who troll me.' Abbie went on to say she names and shames people who criticise her because she wants to 'deter people who troll her'. The backlash didn't end there as the fan she publicly shamed sent Abbie yet another direct message calling out the former Bachelor star for leaking their private chat. 'Are you proud of yourself?' the person said in another message which Abbie also shared. 'Seriously? You double down every single time someone voices their opinions, but less than two weeks ago you posted a crying, sobbing video asking people to stop coming at you. Yet here you are doing it to your own followers.' This time, Abbie hit back at the follower directly, saying: 'Queen, there's a difference between me posting your own words and me being harassed and defamed for years by someone. 'I don't think you could handle what I handle for even an hour. It's insane. You have no idea what this is like.' When the follower went on to slam Abbie for sharing their private conversation to her Stories, Abbie said: 'I don't know you. You aren't deserving of privacy. 'I am a person reading your message. I don't owe you privacy, we are strangers. If you don't want something shown then don't say it.'
