FOX21 team shines at Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards
(COLORADO) — Saturday, April 6, was a big night at the Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) 2024 Awards of Excellence Gala, and four of Fox21News's own walked away with some shiny new prizes! A FOX21 powerhouse team took the spotlight, with Digital Executive Producer Sarah Ferguson, Chief Photojournalist Dez Rowe, and Photojournalist Cora Mitchell, snagging a top honor, the Award of Excellence, for the Best Community Service Campaign on the Dangers of Fentanyl in Colorado. On top of that, FOX21's amazing Sports Reporter Abbi Bennett won Best Sportscaster of the Year for the second time in a row. Fox21 News also earned Certificates of Merit in several categories, including Best Station Promotion, Best Sales Campaign for an Advertiser, and Best Feature News Report.
