Seventeen drops fan song

Seventeen gifted fans the digital single 'Encircled' Friday to celebrate its official fandom's ninth anniversary. The bandmates wrote the lyrics to express their gratitude and love while the music video used scenes from tours and award shows to relive the memories shared between the group and its fans. Meanwhile, the band flew to Bangkok on Thursday for its live show in the Thai capital. It will close its international tour that began in October 2024 with two concerts over the weekend. Earlier this week, the 13-piece act's latest EP 'Spill the Feels' cinched double platinum certification in Japan, its seventh to do so. The album topped Oricon's Daily, Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings and ranked No. 5 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 3.82 million copies and became the most-sold album in Korea last year. Taehyun and Huening Kai of Tomorrow X Together participated in the original soundtrack of the Netflix show 'Melo Movie,' label Big Hit Music said Friday. The two sang 'Surfing in the Moonlight' for the Korean romantic comedy that stars Choi Wooshik and begins streaming Friday. This is the second time the two idols lent their voices to a drama following last year's 'Brewing Love.' In the meantime, TXT is preparing to embark on its international tour "Act: Promise Ep. 2," which will kick off March 7-9 with three shows in Incheon. The five-member team will visit Kanagawa, Japan, the following week before starting the European leg, a first for the band.
