SSC to reopen OTR correction window on June 19, move following requests of candidates; check notice
The Staff Selection Commission, SSC, has informed that it will reopen the window to correct/modify existing OTR details from June 19, 2025. Candidates will be able to make corrections to their OTR details on the official website at after the link is made active. The deadline to make corrections/modifications is June 30, 2025. As per the official notice, the move has been taken following multiple requests of candidates regarding their inability to modify the OTR details specifically related to Other Backward Class/Economically Weaker Sections category status and educational qualifications. SSC CHT Final Result 2024: Option cum preference form submission begins at ssc.gov.in, notice here
Staff Selection Commission has released the option cum preference form for SSC CHT Final Result 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2024 (CHTE-2024) and are waiting for their results can check the notice on the official website of SSC at As per the official notice, the option cum preference for posts/ departments are required to be submitted by those candidates who have appeared in Paper-II of the examination. Accordingly, all candidates, who have appeared in Paper-II, are advised to submit their Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/ department(s) for CHTE-2024 through their respective 'CANDIDATE LOGIN' on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e., wherein facility of submission of Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/ department(s) will be available under My Application Tab. For candidates who appeared in Paper II of the examination, the option cum preference form can be submitted from June 9 to June 14, 2025. The official notice reads, " Candidates who fail to exercise their Optioncum-Preference(s) during the aforesaid period, shall not be given any further opportunity for submission of their Option-cum-Preference(s) and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection. Therefore, the candidates who have appeared in Paper-II are required to mandatorily exercise their Option-cum-Preference(s) for consideration of their candidature in the final merit list/final selection in CHTE-2024." Staff Selection Commission has released SSC Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2025 notification. Candidates who want to apply for Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025 can find the direct link through the official website of SSC at The last date to apply is June 26, 2025. The last date for making online fee payment is June 27, 2025. The correction window will open on July 1 and close on July 2, 2025. The computer-based exam (Paper 1) will be held on August 12, 2025. This recruitment drive will fill approximately 437 Group 'B' Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, Senior Translator and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) for various Ministries/ Departments/Organisations of the Government of India. Candidates who want to apply for the posts can check the educational qualification and age limit through the Detailed Notification available here. The examination will consist of two papers. Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only. Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I; i.e., Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper). The application fee is ₹100/-.
