3 Doors Down cancels 2025 tour, including an Alaska State Fair show
May 7—American rock band 3 Doors Down has canceled its 2025 shows, including an August appearance at the Alaska State Fair.
In a video posted to social media Wednesday, lead singer Brad Arnold detailed a recent Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
"I'd been sick a couple of weeks ago and then went to the hospital and got checked out and had actually got the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung," Arnold said in a video posted to Facebook.
The band had been scheduled to play Friday, Aug. 29, as part of the 2025 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series. The fair said it is trying to fill the slot vacated with the news.
The fair said all 3 Doors Down ticket holders who purchased them from will receive a full refund. The refund may take up to two weeks to process.
