Boris Johnson's wife Carrie rushed to hospital just a month after giving birth

Carrie Johnson, wife to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has been rushed to hospital amid soaring temperatures this week. The mum-of-four has sent a warning to fellow parents from her hospital bed Boris Johnson's wife has issued a warning to fellow mums after she spent two nights in hospital this week. Carrie and Boris Johnson welcomed baby Poppy into the world on May 21, with baby Poppy being Boris' ninth child. He and Carrie married in July 2021, and already share sons Wilfred, five, and Frank, one, and daughter Romy, three. ‌ Carrie Johnson has been treated in hospital for "severe dehydration, a little over a month since welcoming her fourth child. Carrie revealed on Friday how she had been rushed in for treatment and warned fellow mums to "eat and drink enough in this heat". ‌ Takign to her Instagram stories she wrote: 'Being hospitalised for two nights for my severe dehydration was not on my postpartum bingo card. Breastfeeding mums make sure you eat and drink enough in this heat. Especially if your babe is clusterfeeding." The 37-year-old added: 'This week has honestly been brutal. Mastitis (me), reflux (her), dehydration (me). What a pair we are! But thank you for all the kindest messages, especially all the brilliant advice on reflux. Really appreciate it and made me feel way less alone going thru it all.' Mastitis is an inflammation of breast tissue, common in women who are breastfeeding. The Tory former Prime Minister has always refused to talk about his family life but he is believed to have at least nine children, including four with his wife Carrie. He has been married three times, first to Allegra Mostyn Owen who he met at Oxford University. The couple were married for six years before they divorced and he tied the knot with lawyer Marina Wheeler in 1993. ‌ Their marriage lasted 25 years but they separated in 2018 amid rumours of his affair with his now wife Carrie, who had worked as a Tory spinner. The couple moved into No10 together after Mr Johnson became PM in 2019. There are 24 years between the former PM, now 60, and media consultant Carrie, who shares glimpses of their personal life through her stylish Instagram feed. On the surface the pair seem quite different. Carrie, 37, is a fashionable modern mum who loves posting about dreamy family holidays, thrifted Vinted finds, and lunches out with her wide circle of friends. Boris, by contrast, is known for his more traditional tastes — his love of classics, Shakespeare, and iconic leaders such as Winston Churchill has earned him a reputation as a British eccentric. On May 29, 2021, Carrie and Johnson tied the knot in a secret wedding at Westminster Cathedral, sticking to a low-key affair with just 30 guests amid the restrictions of the Coronavirus pandemic. Sharing a snap of herself in her thrifty £45 rented wedding gown, Carrie declared she was 'very, very happy'. One year after their first wedding, in the summer of 2022, Johnson and Carrie said 'I do' once more in a boho chic style ceremony held at the Grade I-listed in the Cotswolds - owned by one of the top Conservative Party supporters, JCB chairman Lord Bamford. Guests enjoyed an al fresco feast, while Carrie wore a garland of white flowers.

Amitabh Bachchan's Cyber Fraud Caller Tune To Be Removed From Today

The cybercrime awareness caller tune featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be removed from Thursday, sources have told NDTV. The pre-recorded message would play each time a user made a phone call, as part of the Centre's campaign to spread information on rising cases of cyber fraud. "The campaign has come to an end and therefore, the caller tune will be removed from today," one of the sources said. The development comes amid increasing complaints that the caller tune appeared to be an obstacle during emergency situations as callers could not be immediately connected. Recently, Mr Bachchan was trolled for the tune, eliciting sharp reactions from the actor. On Monday, the veteran actor shared a random post that read: "Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek prashansak hoon. Toh?? (Yes, sir, I'm a fan too. So??)." A social media user replied to the post and wrote: "Toh phone pe bolna band kro bhay (So stop saying it on the phone)." To this, the actor said: "Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unhone jo kaha humne kar diya (Tell the government, I did what they told me to do)." Another user attacked Mr Bachchan over his age, saying: "Buddha sathiya gaya (He has gone senile)." In response, the actor said: "Ek din bhagwan na karein who jaldi aaye, ap bhi sathiya jaayenge. Parantu humarein yaha kahawat hai - jo satha, who patha (God forbid it comes soon - you will grow senile. But we have a saying here: 'The older, the wiser)." Earlier, Mr Bachchan was criticised over a similar pre-recorded caller tune on precautions against Coronavirus. A public interest litigation was also filed in Delhi High Court, seeking a direction to remove his voice from the tune, after he and some of his family members were infected.

King Charles' breakfast recipe which includes 'nutrient powerhouse'

A breakfast recipe shared by Clarence House has been a hit with the Royal Family for years - and it's a great way to start your day with a delicious and nutritious meal Have you ever wondered what the Royal Family actually eat? Many people might envision roasted pheasant, caviar, or elaborate feasts within Buckingham Palace. However, a recipe shared by Clarence House reveals that Royal dining isn't always so opulent or intricate. In fact, there's a straightforward dish favoured by King Charles that you can easily make in your own kitchen. ‌ The morning meal, known as 'Cheesy Baked Eggs', was made public in 2020 when our King was still the Prince of Wales. The team behind Clarence House's Instagram account claimed it could be made with an assortment of cheeses and just six additional ingredients, reports Surrey Live. ‌ "One thing that undoubtedly brings many of us great comfort is good food," the future King said during the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic. He continued: "It is, therefore, deeply troubling to learn that this crisis risks destroying one of the most wonderful joys in life – British cheese!" For those eager to try their hand at regal gastronomy, Clarence House recommends gathering these ingredients: One cherry tomato or sundried tomatoes Wilted spinach, 100g Soft cheese (for instance, Tunworth, Gold Cenarth or other strong soft cheese), 35g Hard grated cheese (for example, Old Winchester), 15g One egg Double cream, 80ml Torn basil leaves Optional: charcuterie/cold-cut meats Begin by greasing a small ovenproof dish, then line it with wilted spinach and either chopped fresh tomatoes or sundried tomatoes. Arrange these ingredients around the dish's perimeter, creating a 'small well' in the middle. Next, heap the soft cheese and shredded basil leaves on top of the tomato-spinach wall. At this point, you may also introduce some cold-cut meats, although this step is optional. ‌ Once the wall is constructed, crack a single egg into the centre of the well. Pour 80ml of double cream over the egg, and finish with a generous sprinkle of grated hard cheese. "Place in a hot oven (180C) for eight to 10 minutes," says Clarence House. "Let it stand for a few minutes before eating." Spinach shines as an outstandingly healthy component of this dish, boasting the title of a 'powerhouse' of nutrients with multiple health benefits. Helen Bell, a nutritionist at Help and Advice, has previously highlighted its benefits to the Express, saying: "Spinach is indeed known for its potential benefits in managing high blood pressure. It is rich in nitrates, which can help dilate blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure. ‌ "I have often recommended incorporating spinach into diets for individuals looking to manage their blood pressure naturally. Aside from this, spinach is a powerhouse of nutrients, including vitamins A, C, and K, as well as iron and calcium. Its antioxidant properties make it beneficial for overall health and well-being." Research states that consuming spinach may be connected to a lower risk of cancer. A study conducted in 2007 revealed "some evidence that the risk of aggressive prostate cancer decreased with increasing spinach consumption". ‌ However, further studies are needed to confirm the benefits of spinach. Additionally, it's essential to consume cheesy baked eggs in moderation, as cheese, while rich in protein and calcium, is often high in salt and saturated fat, which can increase the risk of high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease, according to the British Heart Foundation. "You don't have to cut cheese out of your diet, but if you have high cholesterol or blood pressure, use high-fat cheeses sparingly," the foundation advises. "A 30g portion of cheese provides seven per cent of your daily calories and there can be more salt in a portion of cheddar than in a packet of crisps." King Charles is not the only Royal fan of baked eggs. Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles, also enjoys a similar recipe, which was a staple of his childhood. In his book, Cooking and The Crown, he wrote: "Baked eggs, also known as Oeufs en Cocotte, have long been a staple of the royal table, from Queen Victoria to the present day." He added: "This was also a favourite dish from my childhood, usually devoured when we returned home from our holidays, when the fridge and larder were bare. My mother would use eggs from our chickens." Tom's book 'Cooking and The Crown' boasts more than 100 recipes spanning from Queen Victoria's reign to King Charles III. It includes some lavish dishes like 'Pommes Elizabeth' and 'Pudding au Pain et aux Cerises', but also offers a variety of simpler recipes for home cooking.

28 Years Later director Danny Boyle breaks down Covid parallels in new sequel

Much-claimed director Danny Boyle has described landmarks 'being transformed' in front of our eyes during the 2020 Covid pandemic - as he reflects on the parallels to 28 Years Later lead character The film 28 Years Later explores a fictional infected mainland - and director Danny Boyle has said that the strange Covid times we lived through five years ago has helped viewers relate to the lead character Jamie. Set in a post-apocalyptic city, 28 Years Later tells the story of a highly contagious virus and its detrimental effects on the population, which leads to societal collapse. The film shows Jamie taking his 12-year-old son across a causeway to the abandoned and infected mainland. ‌ Now, Danny Boyle has spoken about the parallels to the Covid era in a Reddit Q & A, about how a city can be 'transformed overnight' yet 'still be recognisable'. During the pandemic many of us saw our towns and cities take on a new identity for a while and strange sights were spotted on high streets and of in our local supermarkets. ‌ Mr Boyle said: "What Covid did, it happened everywhere in the world, suddenly a city can be transformed overnight and still be recognisable. Suddenly it didn't just belong to movies. Who would have thought that recognisable landmarks can be transformed in front of your eyes. 'That's a wonderful opportunity for filmmakers to build on, and we duly did. That's a connection to something everyone's experienced. Over a longer period of time, after the urgency to stay safe (mask wearing, disinfecting everything, distrusting who you were meeting, was anyone sneezing in the room), you can't keep that up for very long. 'You start to explore risk. As humans, you just do. How far can I go? That increases over time. When you apply that mentality over 28 years, the amount of risks you'll take is huge. Jamie, our lead character, takes his 12-year-old son across a causeway to an infected mainland. 28 days after an outbreak he'd be a madman. But 28 years later he's a hero for bringing his son out - it reflects all our shared mentalities." Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you! 28 Years Later writer, Alex Garland, finally confirmed that recent political events influenced the making of the third instalment. While fans of the franchise initially suspected that the global Coronavirus pandemic may have served as a massive inspiration for 28 Years Later, Alex— who directed Ex Machina and Civil War — denied any links between the upcoming zombie horror film and the global lockdowns. Instead, the Academy Award-nominee was reportedly inspired by Brexit, and claims much of 28 Years Later has been inspired by Britain's decision to leave the EU back in 2016. Speaking to Empire about the script and its influences, Alex said: "Covid was not on my mind because it was too recent and too present, but Brexit was." He noted a "sense of the globe just sort of shifting its position" and "not really looking in this direction," all of which served as inspiration for the treatment of the movie.
