Gary, Indiana home at center of large police and SWAT response; coroner also on scene
There is a large police presence, including SWAT officers, outside a home in Gary, Indiana. The law enforcement response is concentrated in a neighborhood on Adams near 7th Avenue. There is a large SWAT vehicle in front of a home there, with officers carrying long guns. The Lake County (Indiana) Coroner's Office is also on the scene. CBS News Chicago has reached out to police for information about what drew such a large law enforcement response and if anyone may have been hurt or killed. We are still waiting to hear back. 16-year-old dies, 14-year-old seriously injured after ATV crash: P.E.I. RCMP
One teenager has died and another is in hospital after an ATV crash in western Prince Edward Island Thursday evening. RCMP, fire and ambulance crews responded to a single-vehicle ATV crash with two passengers in the Roseville area around 7:30 p.m. Police say a 16-year-old boy from Summerside was pronounced dead at the scene. The other passenger, a 14-year-old girl, was taken to Prince County Hospital with serious injuries. The Coroner's Office also attended the scene. 25-year-old New Brunswick woman killed in ATV crash
A 25-year-old woman from Haut-Madawaska, New Brunswick has died following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in the community. Saint-Leonard RCMP responded to reports of an ATV crash on a trail off Long Boulevard around 3:34 p.m. on Tuesday. 'The collision is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of her ATV,' said an RCMP release. The 25-year-old woman was the driver and lone occupant, she died at the scene as a result of her injuries. The New Brunswick Coroner's office attended the scene. Coroner identifies men killed in Boone County plane crash
Boone County Coroner's Office Rebecca A. Wigget has identified two men killed in a June 28 plane crash near Capron. They were Scott M. Wentz, 60, of Grayslake and Kenneth C. Serzynski, 74, of Beach Park, according to a news release. They had been travelling in a Vans RV-10 aircraft, a four-seat, single-engine plane, according to published reports. It apparently crashed in a farm field. An autopsy conducted June 30 showed the men died as result of injuries suffered in the crash. The deaths remain under investigation by the Boone County Coroner's Office, Boone County Sheriff's Department and the Federal Aviation Administration. 37-year-old Lorne man dies following single-vehicle crash: N.B. RCMP

(CTV Atlantic / Avery MacRae) A 37-year-old man from Lorne, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash near Charlo, N.B. The Campbellton RCMP detachment responded to a report of a crash on Highway 11 around 11:40 a.m. Thursday. The RCMP says the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. Police believe the crash occurred when the vehicle lost control and entered the ditch.
