Muscular Trump ally unveils dramatic new tattoo showing off his undying patriotism
Congressman Cory Mills has gotten a dramatic new tattoo showing off his patriotic side. The Florida Republican has added a colorful display showing off the nation's Capitol on his arm, according to a picture of the new ink shared with the Daily Mail. Featuring the dome of the US Capitol building in front of clouds and a shimmering sun, Mill's tattoo also features the first three words of the Constitution: 'We the People.' The display on the congressman's forearm is done in white and black shading with some red throughout, including for the coloring of waving American flag on the Capitol's roof. Mills, 44, is a US military veteran who served in the Army's airborne division and then earned a fortune in the private security industry. He coordinated civilian evacuations from Afghanistan in 2021 and Haiti in 2024. Mills is one to dive into danger, he previously jumped out of a plane in France for D-Day celebration. And he was given a prime seat by President Trump at the Army's 250th anniversary parade over the weekend. The new ink, he told the Daily Mail, is an extension of his Christian faith and patriotism. 'The Capitol dome is the center point of our nation's Capitol. Above the Speaker's chair in the House is proudly displayed, 'In God We Trust',' he told the Daily Mail in a statement. The Capitol tattoo accompanies a piece on Mill's shoulder showing St. Michael slaying a dragon. The two tattoos have deep spiritual meaning for Mills, he has said 'Our constitution was written with our Christian Judeo faith in mind, and to preserve our rights from tyranny.' 'It's a place I came to continue my service in the fight for freedom and the ongoing battle of good vs evil.' The Capitol tattoo compliments another scene on Mills' shoulder, which was meant to cover up an older piece on his arm. 'I had my Rosary beads since about 2000 that I paid $100 to get,' Mills told the Daily Mail of his now covered up ink. He said it faded due to sun exposure time. 'My Archangel Michael (done in 2024) was a bit of a coverup on the original tattoo but keeping me grounded in my faith. Reminding me we are always in a battle of good vs evil.' The tattoo comes after questions over Mill's faith came to the forefront last month after a report indicated that the Republican was married in a ceremony overseen by an Islamic teacher with ties to extremism. Mills married his soon-to-be ex-wife, Rana Al Saadi, a naturalized American from Iraq, in 2014 at the Dar Al-Hijirah Islamic Center in Falls Church. The two were wed by Mohammad Al-Hanooti, who was reportedly an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Reports indicate that Al-Hanooti, born in Palestine in 1937, was a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and a fundraiser for Hamas. Though Mills pushed back saying the Islamic ceremony was necessary so his wife could go home to Iraq to visit an ailing relative. She 'would've been arrested' without documentation of her religious marriage to Mills, the congressman told The Blaze, the outlet who first reported on Mills' wedding ceremony. The congressman has said he is a practicing Christian.

Syrian leader hosts Republican US congressman

(AP pic) DAMASCUS : Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa has met with a US congressman, the Syrian presidency said today, the first such visit by an American lawmaker since the overthrow of long-time ruler Bashar al-Assad. Foreign minister Asaad al-Shaibani was also present at the meeting with Republican Cory Mills at the presidential palace in Damascus, a presidency statement said. Mills arrived in Syria yesterday along with Marlin Stutzman, another politician from the Republican party of US President Donald Trump. In late December, less than two weeks after a coalition spearheaded by Sharaa's Islamist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham toppled Assad, Washington scrapped a long-standing reward for the arrest of the new leader. The decision to drop the bounty for Sharaa followed 'positive messages' from a first meeting with the new authorities, a senior US diplomat said at the time. The new government, dominated by Sharaa loyalists, has been pushing for Assad-era sanctions to be lifted to revive Syria's economy and support reconstruction after nearly 14 years of war. Washington has already eased some sanctions on Syria affecting essential services, although it is a temporary measure as the US and other governments wait to see how the new authorities exercise their power before enacting wider exemptions. The US, which has welcomed the formation of an interim government, has demanded progress on issues such as the fight against terrorism. Nevertheless, Washington announced yesterday that it would halve the number of US troops deployed to the country to fight the Islamic State group, bringing their number to fewer than 1,000. International sanctions have weighed heavily on the Syrian economy, with around 90% of people living in poverty, according to UN figures. Next week, Syrian ministers and the country's central bank chief are due to attend the International Monetary Fund and World Bank's spring meetings in Washington, sources with knowledge of the meetings told AFP. The congressmen's visit came as Washington warned yesterday of 'imminent attacks' in Syria and particularly in 'locations frequented by tourists', according to an alert posted on the US embassy's website. The embassy's operations in Damascus have been suspended since 2012, the year after the brutal repression of anti-government protests under Assad sparked civil war.

EXCLUSIVE Girlfriend of embattled MAGA lawmaker breaks silence after alleged domestic assault
The 27-year-old girlfriend of a married Republican congressman opened up to the Daily Mail about a domestic dispute 911 call that led cops to the lawmaker's home. Headlines broke in February that Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills was under investigation for a domestic assault after the police were called to his residence in Washington, D.C. Sarah Raviani, a co-founder of Iranians for Trump, phoned the police after '(Her significant other for over a year) grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door' of his apartment, a copy of the initial incident report obtained by NBC claims. Raviani showed 'bruises on her arm which appeared fresh', the report stated, in addition to claiming that Mills instructed her to lie to authorities about what took place. 'Officers [heard] Subject 1 [now identified by MPD as Mills] instruct her to lie about the origin of her bruises,' it stated. Police also allegedly told Mills he would be placed under arrest, but after Raviani changed her story, no arrest took place and no charges have been filed. A new version of the police report was created within days, saying the incident was a family disturbance and there was no cause for arrest. Both Mills and Raviani deny any wrongdoing. Breaking her silence to set the record straight, Raviani told the Daily Mail in a statement: 'Regarding the police call, I've confirmed multiple times and I'll confirm again, no assault took place.' The 27-year-old confirmed that she and Mills, who is married, are together: 'We're in a relationship,' she said, adding 'it's been confirmed many times.' The Daily Mail first contacted Raviani to speak about a report from The Blaze which sheds light on the congressman's 2014 marriage to Rana Al Saadi, an American citizen originally from Iraq. According to the report, Mills and Al Saadi were wed in an Islamic ceremony by a member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammad Al-Hanooti. The Islamic center they were married at was also briefly attended by some 9/11 hijackers. Mills shares in the article that his relationship with Al Saad is in the process of ending. 'We've been going through divorce proceedings for 2.5 years and have been separated for three years.' The report also cast doubts on how genuine Mills' Christian faith is, but Raviani told the Daily Mail it should not be up for debate. 'I can confidently say that the claims made in the Blaze article are entirely untrue,' she wrote. The couple regularly pray together in private, she shared. 'He has not only attended church with my family and me, but we also pray together privately— just the two of us— where there would be no reason to pretend or perform for others.' 'Additionally, we pray together publicly before meals. Any assertion that he is a Muslim is false, and I can personally attest to his Christian faith,' she told the Daily Mail. In fact, the two even spent Easter together overseas while the congressman was visiting Turkey and Syria on an unofficial trip with Indiana Republican Rep. Marlin Stutzman. The unofficial trip was organized by the Syrian American Alliance for Peace and Prosperity, Mills has said. Photos posted on Stutzman's social media show Raviani at a table next to Mills during conversations in Turkey. When pressed on the meeting the pro-Iranian activist shared: 'I was with Cory, and they offered me to sit in the meeting before dinner.' 'I'm an advocate for women's rights in Iran and a free Iran.' 'The purpose of the travel was because we wanted to spend Easter together,' she shared.
