Man dies after Greenwich crash between car and cyclist
A man has died after a crash between a car and cyclist in Greenwich yesterday (Monday, June 30). Two others were also treated by paramedics at the scene.
Ambulance crews rushed to reports of a crash between a car and a cyclist on Creek Road at around 4pm yesterday afternoon. One man was taken to hospital and two treated at the scene. A second man died at the scene of the incident.
Creek Road has now reopened after it was closed between Deptford and Greenwich yesterday afternoon. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called today (Mon 30) at 4.07pm to reports of a car in collision with a cyclist in Creek Road, SE8.

'We sent resources including ambulance crews, incident response officers and advanced paramedic practitioners. We treated two people and took one man to hospital. Sadly, despite our best efforts, a second man was pronounced dead at the scene.'
