Man, 32, shot to death early Sunday morning, Norfolk police say
NORFOLK — A 32-year-old man was shot to death overnight Sunday. Around 1:15 a.m., police were sent to the 900 block of Bagnall Road — in the Calvert Square section of the city — after a report of a shooting victim. Officers arrived and found a man — identified as Dion Melton — who was suffering from a life-threatening wound. He was taken to a local hospital, but later died. Identity of man shot and killed in Norfolk early Thursday morning released by police
NORFOLK — The identity of a man shot and killed early Thursday morning has been released by authorities. The Norfolk Police Department identified the man as 63-year-old Lee A. Charity of Norfolk. First responders found him at the scene, near the intersection of Sewells Point Road and Kennebeck Avenue, with a gunshot wound and pronounced Charity dead. Police were called at about 2:40 a.m. Police said detectives are still investigating. No additional details were immediately available. Man in critical condition following Chesapeake shooting: Police
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A man is in critical condition following a shooting in Chesapeake Saturday morning, according to the Chesapeake Police Department. Officers responded to the 3200 block of Border Road with reports of gunshots in the area and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 4:40 a.m. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was determined to be in critical condition. 1 woman dead after shooting in Newport News
At roughly 11:21 p.m. on Sunday, Newport News police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 27th Street and Wickham Avenue. When they arrived, officers found adult female suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The woman died after being transported to the hospital. This investigation is ongoing.
