911 call shows police discover Devil's Den double homicide
WEST FORK, Ark. — A 911 call sparked the hunt for a suspect responsible for a double homicide at Devil's Den State Park on Saturday, July 26. The call revealed an operator saying two children showed up to the park's visitor center. They said their parents were assaulted and one was possibly stabbed. The victims were later identified by Arkansas State Police as Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, who recently moved to Prairie Grove from another state. They were found dead on a walking trail. Their two daughters were left behind uninjured. 'It's just kind of crazy, they're saying it's a random act, but it definitely makes you know that you never know. The police scanner that day showed when police learned about the double homicide: 'Try to relay to the office that we found the victims down here; they're on the lower Devil's Den trail. I think I see you right there, I've got two bodies down here.'
