Pedro Pascal Talks Relationships, Daddy Status
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Pedro Pascal is opening up about relationships and his heartthrob status. The 50-year-old has never publicly been confirmed to be in a relationship with someone. He told the publication, "I always feel perplexed when I'm identified in whatever form of media as a 'highly private person,' because that's the opposite of me." 'I'm very unprivate in my private life. I just know that personal relationships are such a complex thing to navigate even without having this enormous lens on them," he continued. As for children, the actor said that he isn't super interested in having them, but said, 'I've had dreams of taking my kids to the movies the way my parents took me. So I guess I want a shortcut to an interesting human being who is my child who will go see something that I want to see.' Of course, many people are thirsting for Pedro regardless. At the Critics' Choice Awards, Chelsea Handler joked that 2023 was "the year everyone became horny for Pedro Pascal." Now, Pedro said that he was there after dislocating his shoulder, recalling, 'I was in a sling, I was overweight, and when the camera cut to me, I didn't think anything could be further from the truth.' Shortly after, Pedro began working on Materialists while his shoulder was still injured. 'It was the oldest I'd ever felt in life,' he said. 'It was the weakest I'd ever felt. It was such a scary, fraudulent thing to feel like I could play somebody who was the catch of Manhattan.' When the interviewer noted that he is still handsome in the movie, Pedro responded, "You think I'm hot in it? Thank God!' As for the "daddy" label, one person who wasn't thrilled was Pedro's The Last of Us co-star, Bella Ramsey. They told the publication, "I felt worried for him. I want to protect him from that whole joke of becoming the internet's daddy. I was like, 'I don't want everyone to refer to you as that and see you as that. You're so much more.'" Anyway, the whole interview is absolutely beautiful, so make sure to check it out here.

Brad Pitt details first AA meeting after ‘difficult' Angelina Jolie divorce: I was ‘on my knees'
He was in the pits. Brad Pitt opened up about going to Alcoholics Anonymous following his split from Angelina Jolie during the Monday episode of Dax Shepard's 'Armchair Expert' podcast. Pitt, 61, called AA an 'amazing thing,' and said, 'I just thought it was just incredible men sharing their experiences, their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their aches, and a lot of humor with it. I thought it was a really special experience.' Advertisement 9 Brad Pitt on the 'Armchair Expert' podcast in June 2025. However, he was 'shy' about attending his first AA meeting. 'I was pretty much on my knees, and I was really open,' Pitt revealed. 9 Brad Pitt on the Armchair Expert Podcast in June 2025. Anything anyone threw at me. It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting. I needed to wake the f— up in some areas. And it just meant a lot to me,' the 'Thelma & Louise' actor added. 'When I've stepped in s–t, I'm pretty good at taking responsibility for it and owning up to it. And now it's a quest to, you know, 'What do I do with this? How can I right this?' And make sure it doesn't happen again.' He added that AA meetings eventually became 'something I'd look forward to' and said that he approaches therapy in the same way. 9 Angelina Jolie with daughters Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt at Rome Film Fest 2021. Pitt and Jolie, 50, had a drawn out, acrimonious divorce that got finalized in December after a turbulent eight-year legal battle. The former spouses first met on the set of 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' in 2005, when Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston, 56. In an interview with GQ published in May, Pitt said about his divorce, 'I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' Pitt, who is currently dating Ines de Ramon, 32, told GQ that he's used to 'some version' of his personal life being in the news for over 30 years. 'It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,' Pitt said. 'So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I don't know. I don't know.'

F1 movie first reviews: Brad Pitt stuns as critics call it the 'best blockbuster in 20 years' with no negative notes
F1 movie first reviews: Brad Pitt is officially back on the race track, and critics are all hearts for it. Following a special press screening ahead of its world premiere at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 16, early reviews for F1 , the Joseph Kosinski-directed racing epic, have started rolling in, and this one might just be a game-changer for the movie business this year. The film, which stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris as rival F1 drivers, appears to have struck the perfect balance between high-octane action and old-school movie star charm, even if its story leans a little cliché. That hasn't stopped critics from hailing F1 as one of the most electrifying and visually stunning sports dramas in years. Brad Pitt is a true movie star: Critics share rave reviews of F1 Scott Menzel, a long-time film and TV journalist, showered the film with high praise, writing on X (formerly Twitter), 'F1 is a damn good sports movie. While the script features every single cliché imaginable and the film as a whole is a bit overly long, Brad Pitt's charismatic performance proves that he, just like Tom Cruise, is a true movie star. Joseph Kosinski directs the hell out of this thing with some of the most impressive racing scenes I've ever seen on the big screen. I had my doubts about this one, but F1 is definitely a winner.' Justin Baldoni's Lawyer Says Blake Lively Shouldn't Celebrate Yet
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Justin Baldoni's lawyer said Blake Lively should hold off on celebrating after a judge dismissed the actor's $400 million defamation lawsuit against her. "Let us be clear about the latest ruling. While the court dismissed the defamation related claims, the court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations," Bryan Freedman said in a statement to TMZ. Newsweek reached out to Lively's lawyer outside of regular working hours via email for comment. The Context Baldoni, 41, and Lively, 37, co-starred in the 2024 film It Ends With Us. In December, Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department, accusing him of sexual harassment on set. Baldoni—who also directed the movie—and production company Wayfarer Studios responded in a now-dismissed $400 million lawsuit against her, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane, citing defamation, extortion and more. Baldoni also sued The New York Times for $250 million, accusing the newspaper of defamation after it published what he believed was a biased narrative by Lively. On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Liman dismissed both the $400 million lawsuit and the $250 million lawsuit, as Lively's sexual harassment accusations were legally protected. The judge noted, however, that Baldoni's legal team could amend the breach of implied covenant and tortious interference claims. R: Blake Lively at an event in New York City on June 9, Porsche; Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage What To Know On Tuesday, Freedman made it clear that Baldoni and Lively's legal battle isn't over. "Ms. Lively and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false," Freedman said. "This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively's own team conveniently describes as 'untraceable' because they cannot prove what never happened," he told TMZ. "Most importantly, Ms. Lively's own claims are no truer today than they were yesterday, and with the facts on our side, we march forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her cohorts initiated this battle and look forward to her forthcoming deposition, which I will be taking." On Monday, Lively posted a statement to her Instagram Stories following the judge's ruling. "Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back," she shared with her 43.4 million followers. "I'm more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story." That same day, the Gossip Girl alum was all smiles at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner, while Reynolds appeared to be in good spirits, too. The Deadpool star, 48, smiled in an Instagram Stories photo posted to his account following the motion, People reported. What People Are Saying Blake Lively's lawyers, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, in a statement after the judge's dismissal: "Today's opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times. As we have said from day one, this '$400 million' lawsuit was a sham, and the court saw right through it. "We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation." Sigrid McCawley, an attorney representing Leslie Sloane, in a statement: "Leslie Sloane has consistently said that she never defamed Baldoni or the Wayfarer Parties and she was wrongfully dragged into this lawsuit because the Wayfarer Parties wanted to actively harm Sloane's reputation. Today's decision by the court makes clear that Sloane did nothing wrong. Sloane stands fully vindicated, and justice has been served." The New York Times spokesperson Charlie Stadtlander said: "We are grateful to the court for seeing the lawsuit for what it was: a meritless attempt to stifle honest reporting. Our journalists went out and covered carefully and fairly a story of public importance, and the court recognized that the law is designed to protect just that sort of journalism." What Happens Next Baldoni's legal team has until June 23 to refile their amended claims.
