Later, in a report by Us Weekly, a source close to the family said Denise was deeply hurt by the situation and felt it was unfair. 'It's a horrible thing to have the most famous person in the world say your son broke her heart when it was actually the other way around — and then you can't even defend yourself,' the source said. The insider explained that the family genuinely believed things with Taylor were heading somewhere serious, and said that Denise's statement wasn't something random, as Healy himself thought it might get to that point. 'You can't blame a mum for standing up for her child,' they said, and called their split 'terrible' for Healy. They added, 'The reality star is still Matty's mum at the end of the day, and it was bloody hard for her to stay quiet during the whole ordeal.' They continued, 'Now that time has gone by, she's saying what she can because she knows that her son got hurt.' But the romance was short-lived, and soon after, Swift's relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce blew up. Later, following her 14th Grammy win, the singer dropped TTPD, and fans quickly pointed to songs like Guilty as Sin?, The Black Dog, and But Daddy I Love Him is about Matty. The singer, for his part, never said anything about Swift. In a podcast interview, he said he'd be lying if he wrote songs about 'casual' romances just because he was famous. 'American Vandal' Season 1 Is Iconic In American Vandal, the crime at the center of season 1 is a graffiti incident of epic proportions — someone vandalized 30 faculty cars with crude drawings. A student, Dylan Maxwell (Jimmy Tatro), was blamed, but amateur documentarians Peter Maldonado (Tyler Alvarez) and Sam Ecklund (Cruel Summer's Griffin Gluck) suspect there may be more to the story. Thus, the guiding question of the season becomes a constant refrain: 'Who drew the d***s?' 9 Great Netflix True Crime Drama Shows to Watch Right Now (July 2025) It sounds crass (and it is), but as Peter and Sam attempt to uncover the truth, deeper problems within the hierarchy of Hanover High are revealed. Tatro, who was already a YouTube celebrity before being cast in the show, has gone on to star in the sitcom Home Economics and the hilarious indie film Theatre Camp, while Gluck was a main cast member in Freeform's Cruel Summer. Alvarez, too, has worked steadily since Vandal, appearing in shows like Ghosts and What We Do in the Shadows. Many of the supporting cast members have also gone on to success.
