Here, Chef Ayush Khandelwal, IHM graduate and co-founder, Paro has curated a list of fusion cocktails that will surely offer you the right kick and keep you happy in the company of friends and good food. Jamun G&T Jamun Crush Botanical Gin • Tonic Water • Fresh Mint This is a drink that feels like home. Remember climbing trees for jamuns? That sweet-tart, purple juice stains your tongue. Jamun crush sets an emotional tone deep, dark, and nostalgic. Tonic adds fizz while gin brings clarity. Fresh mint recalls the first monsoon rains. It's a moody, playful memory brought to life. Makhan Madira Popcorn-Infused Whisky • Caramel Butter • Lemon juice • Bitter • Egg White Step into a single-screen cinema of the past. Popcorn in hand, butter on your fingers. Popcorn-infused whisky smells like aged velvet curtains. Caramel butter with lemon and bitters bring richness and balance. The egg white foam closes with a smooth, cinematic finish. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Portslade: If You Were Born Between 1940-1975 You Could Be Eligible For This Life Cover Reassured Get Quote Undo Kaffir Coast Coconut Gin • Kaffir-Leaves Vodka • Cheesecake Foam • Citrus Burst You've just kicked off your shoes, and the sand is warm underfoot. Somewhere in the distance, a wave crashes, and you finally exhale. Without the boarding pass, Kaffir Coast is a beach getaway. Kaffir vodka adds a subtle intrigue while coconut gin offers tropical warmth. Then comes the surprise cheesecake foam. Citrus bursts through like the sun slicing clouds. Salty, sweet, distant. Saddle Spice Tequila • Kasuri Methi • Agave • Beet Pickle Brine • Jalapeño • Coriander • Citrus If you want a drink that starts strong and maintains its character, then you should try the Saddle Spice. The combination of tequila with kasuri methi creates an exceptional blend that produces magical results. The pickle brine from beets brings tangy complexity to the drink while jalapeño and coriander bring delicate aromatic notes. The drink contains agave and citrus elements, but the taste experience produces both heat and joy. Kyoto Dream Whisky • Yuzu Juice • Matcha • Absinthe Imagine you are wandering through a Kyoto temple garden. The first taste of whisky brings you warmth while the scent of absinthe enters as a mysterious question floating in the air. The yuzu flavour brings you back to the present moment and the matcha arrives at the end to settle everything. The Kyoto Dream feels like a tranquil moment persisting as dusk in a Zen garden. Microsoft layoffs hit Xbox division hard; 10% of Candy Crush team cut, multiple games cancelled
Microsoft has begun a sweeping round of job cuts within its gaming division, affecting hundreds of employees across its global operations, Bloomberg an Xbox spokesperson declined to provide an exact number, the redundancies are said to be 'widespread and significant,' according to sources familiar with the matter. The layoffs span multiple studios and regions. King, the Stockholm-based mobile game developer known forCandy Crush, is reportedly letting go of 10 per cent of its workforce, approximately 200 staff. Other European teams, including ZeniMax, have also initiated job reductions. Several high-profile subsidiaries of Microsoft Gaming, such as Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, Halo developer 343 Industries, and Turn 10 Studios, known forForza Motorsport, have all been affected. Multiple long-term projects have been scrapped as a result. UK-based Rare Studio's fantasy titleEverwild, which had been in development for years, has been cancelled. ZeniMax Online Studios' original online game has also been shelved. Both studios will see staff reductions following the cancellations. Notably, the report highlighted that Xbox has further axed its planned reboot of Perfect Dark and closed The Initiative, the studio co-developing the game. In a memo to staff, Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty cited the decisions as part of a 'broader effort to adjust priorities and focus resources' for success in an evolving industry. The redundancies form part of Microsoft's latest wave of job cuts, which will see 9,000 roles eliminated companywide, its second major round this year. In May, the tech giant cut 6,000 roles, largely in product and engineering departments. The current cuts will span multiple teams, regions, and levels of seniority, with an emphasis on streamlining processes and removing layers of management. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, acknowledged the difficult decisions in an internal email, stating the company must prioritise its strongest opportunities to ensure long-term growth, added the report. While no specific figures were provided, Spencer assured affected employees they would receive 'priority review' for other roles within Microsoft. Despite the setbacks, Spencer maintained that the company's roadmap across platforms, hardware, and games 'has never looked stronger.' Employees within the gaming division had anticipated further restructuring since May, when speculation grew that Xbox could face deeper cuts. This marks the fourth significant round of layoffs within Xbox in the past 18 months. The division, which employed around 20,000 people as of January, has faced increasing pressure to deliver higher margins following Microsoft's $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard in late 2023. The singer stunned fans with her youthful appearance in a new social media snap – but would you recognise her? Jennifer Paige – the voice behind 1998's chart-topping smash Crush – who wowed fans with her age-defying looks in a recent Instagram post. She wrote: 'New music and art projects on the horizon. My hubby's art will be released on Friday, as well. 'Very happy for him, as it's been a long time in the making. I'll share it here so you can let him know what you think! Let's go, men! You were born for greatness.' Fans took to the comment section shocked to see her looking as ageless as ever, with one writing: 'You still look just as beautiful.' Another added: 'Wow! Jennifer's song Crush shot to No 1 in 16 countries and sold 11 million copies. Here in Australia, it was a number one hit that ended up as the seventh-best-selling song of 1998. Her debut album was released the same year and Jennifer went on to record three more – although they failed to gain the same traction as her first. She even recorded a duet with Backstreet Boy Nick Carter called Beautiful Lie, featured on her 2008 album Best Kept Secret. Once dropped into semi-retirement after chart success, Jennifer faced childhood heartbreak, melanoma and the loss of both parents in 2008. She later retreated from fame, moved into song writing for commercials, charity music and podcasts. She then eventually crowdfunded a comeback album, Starflower, in 2017. Jennifer is married to artist Jason 'Hawk' Carter. The couple tied the knot in 2010 and have a daughter named Stella Rose, born on October 5, 2014. Jason made a surprise cameo in Jennifer's 2017 music video for The Devil's in the Details. The original actor dropped out, meaning he had to step in last minute.
