The Cub Foods in Uptown Minneapolis has temporarily closed.
The grocery store at 1104 Lagoon Ave. closed its doors on Saturday, June 14, a representative for parent company United Natural Foods (UNFI) tells Bring Me The News.
The parking lot has been blocked off, and a sign has been posted on the door informing customers about the closure.
"We are temporarily closing our Cub Uptown store as it undergoes some needed repairs and other proactive measures," the sign says. "As a standard practice, some stores may undergo regular maintenance to ensure we can provide the same high-quality and high-value shopping experience that Cub customers have come to know and expect."
UNFI did not provide a date for the store's reopening.
Customers for the Cub Pharmacy have had prescriptions transferred to the location at 2850 26th Ave. S, a representative story was originally reported by Bring Me The News on Jun 17, 2025, where it first appeared.
