Binghamton Bearcats Softball named Top 25 Mid-Major Program
VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – With the incredible season that the Binghamton Bearcats softball team had, they find themselves sitting in the top 25 for mid-major programs.
The softball team ranked 17th overall in the final Mid-Major poll. It marks the highest ranking for the Bearcats.
Binghamton is the first team from the America East Conference ever to appear in the poll. This ranking adds to a historic season for the team, where they swept the America East regular season and tournament titles, and made it to the Eugene Regional of the NCAA Tournament as the 3 seed.
