WWE SmackDown Results & Highlights (6/27/25): Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton faceoff before KOTR, Rey Fenix makes a surprise entry, John Cena and more

Image via WWE The night before the Night of Champions sees a star-studded Kingdom arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. From WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, to the woman she will face tonight, Nia Jax, to WWE Tag Team Champions Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins and Women's U.S. Champion Zelina Vega, Giulia, Jade Cargill, and Asuka, Riyadh is a myriad of wrestling superstars. The June 27th edition of WWE SmackDown is a preview to the big night, where the King and Queen of the Ring for 2025 will be decided. But not to fret, the night in itself has some pretty high profile matches to go through, and John Cena is also set to be featured alongside CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and LA Knight Opening segment with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton Cody Rhodes makes his entrance after being introduced by ring announcer Mark Nash to the crowd cheering for him. He was about to speak when he got interrupted by entrance music. Randy Orton walked to the ring, and the crowd continued to sing his theme song even after it stopped playing. The segment then got cut short for international viewers because of a feed issue with Netflix. The streaming company posted a graphic apologizing for the interruption, and then a 'we'll be right back' graphic appeared. Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo (with Solo Sikoa) The Bloodline members or whatever is left of it, are still fighting against each other. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Outdoor Clothing | Designed to Perform. Built to Endure. Trek Kit India Shop Now Undo And this time it was a match between JC Mateo and Jimmy Uso with an appearance from Solo Sikoa. Mateo looked to be the dominant one from the beginning, even though Jimmy Uso tried his best to overcome his opponent. At the end, Uso went up top and then jumped over and rolled, but Mateo was ready for him and defeated Uso by pinfall in about 6 minutes into the match. In an after match segment, Solo Sikoa, who tried to distract Jimmy Uso during the match, helped him up and asked him if he was ready to come back. In return, he got slapped by his cousin while fans booed. Jacob Fatu made an entrance to the crowd cheering for him, and dropped a Samoan Drop on Mateo after running into the ring, and then a double jump moonsault. Uso then pushed Fatu out of the way and superkicked Sikoa out of the ring, bringing an end to the segment. In a backstage segment, #DIY and other tag teams are seen talking about The Wyatt Sicks when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis comes in. Listening to their chatter, Aldis calls in Andrade and asks him to find a partner to face a now furious #DIY Zelina Vega vs. Giulia for the Women's U.S. Championship Both Giulia and Zelina Vega looked to be equally matched as the fight started. When Giulia hit a double underhook superplex, Vega retaliated with a Code Red. The match seemed like it could be in anyone's favor, before Giulia kneed her opponent in the face before hitting Vega with a Northern Lights Bomb, defeating her in roughly 7:30 minutes to win the Women's U.S. Championship by pinfall. In another backstage segment, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are seen exchanging a few words before the latter walks off. Could this be the beginning of an unlikely partnership? Then Aksuka and Jade Cargill make their way into the ring before tomorrow night, where they will face off against each other for the Queen of the Ring title. They exchange a few words before Money in the Bank winner Naomi cuts them off with her entrance. There is a strong chance she will cash in her MITB win during the Night of Champions event the next night. In yet another backstage segment, Aleister Black walks in on Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis discussing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. But it all turns into chaos when R-Truth bursts in demanding to get a face-off against John Cena. Aldis tells him that John Cena is in Riyadh to fight CM Punk, but R-Truth says he is here for Cena before walks off. All this while, Black is there watching everything happen. At the end he walks off. Is another storyline brewing backstage? 'DIY' Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Andrade and Rey Fenix Andrade bringing in Rey Fenix was a surprise for many, and the crowd are seen cheering for what is to come. The two tag teams go up against each other one after the other. At one time Fenix is seen running to the top rope and kicking Tommaso Ciampa in the face, while in the next moment fans can see #DIY hitting Andrade with the Shatter Machine for a near fall. At the end Andrade and Rey Fenix defeated 'DIY' Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa by pinfall in about 15 minutes into the match. After the earlier backstage segment, R-Truth gets in the ring to a deafening crowd response. He is in his vibe, and calls out John Cena. But suddenly, Aleister Black comes from behind and hits him with Black Mass and a cryptic message, before walking off. The audience is left bewildered. WWE Tag Team Championship The Street Profits sees Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford going against The Wyatt Sicks members, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis. To make things interesting, Erik Rowan, Nikki Cross, and Uncle Howdy also make their appearance, as things go awry minutes into the match. Los Garza, The Motor City Machine Guns, and Fraxiom are all seen coming to ringside, and even the recent losers #DIY are there. A brawl breaks out, leading to the match being thrown out. WWE Women's Championship The Last Woman Standing Match sees Nia Jax going against the current title holder, Tiffany Stratton. Before the bell can even ring, Nia Jax throws Tiffany Stratton into the ring post. Jax's physically imposing nature comes in handy against a lithe opponent like Stratton, but the latter manages to keep herself in the match over and over. Suddenly, Naomi runs into the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase. But while she is talking to the referee, Stratton hits her before sending Jax on top of her. In the end, Stratton picked up the MITB briefcase and knocked Jax off before taking the win for herself with a pinfall after 17 minutes in the ring. The final segment of the night saw WWE Champion John Cena making his entrance with his title belt held high. He said, "This is what a winner looks like,' and called CM Punk a loser. CM Punk then made his entry wearing a Chicago Cubs jersey, a chain with a padlock on it, a Chicago Bulls hat on backwards, and jorts, mocking Cena's usual attire. Punk also put on big rings resembling Cena, before saying, 'Yo, check it, this is basic Punkanomics. Don't adjust your television set, your eyes are just right. This clown plagiarized my pipe bomb, so now I'm stealing WordLife.' John Cena looked completely shocked at the tune of events as Punk continued rapping and rhyming. The Best in the World then dropped the mic and did the infamous 'you can't see me' hand gesture in Cena's face, bringing an end to the show. PS. I accidentally ruined my neighbour's fence after I painted mine – but it's not the mess that's annoyed people the most

A DIY enthusiast has revealed that after giving his fence a lick of fresh paint, he soon realised he had accidentally ruined his neighbour's fence in the process. Unsure of what to do, the homeowner took to social media to show off the 'nightmare' and ask for people's advice on how to remove the stains. 2 2 But while many were stunned by the mess, this wasn't what annoyed people the most. In fact, users were more bothered by the colour he had chosen to paint his fence - yes, you heard that correctly. Posting on Reddit, on the r/DIYUK thread, the anonymous man shared his post under the username @nokpaan and wrote: 'HELP!!! Made a mess of [my] neighbou r's fence.' Alongside pictures of his neighbour's side of the fence, he then confessed: 'I recently painted/stained my fence with the paint dripping over to my neighbours side of the fence. 'Has anyone come across this nightmare or has any idea on how to remove this stain?' In an attempt to clean up his error, he shared: 'I've tried using a sander and paint stripper was of little help.' Desperate to fix the issue, he begged: 'Any product or idea will be highly welcomed and appreciated.' Reddit advice. One person said: 'Offer to paint their side the same colour.' Another added: 'Oops. That won't be coming out any time soon! I'm sorry but you must surely have noticed what was happening whilst you were undertaking this work? DIY Privacy Fences: Affordable Garden Solutions 'There's literally nothing that will get that out, so it's either stain their side too, cover it somehow, or replace the fence.' Whilst a third commented: 'Only option is to bite the bullet and paint their fence as well.' The Top Five Reasons Neighbours Squabble One study by Compare the Market revealed the top reason British neighbour's argue Broken fences - top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix it Parking: one of the leading drivers of neighbour disputes, with 54.1 per cent of people having issues with people parking in front of their house, parking bay or driveway Trees - complaints about a neighbour's tree cracking your garden path was also common with nearly half of participants finding it frustrating Bin wars - outdoor bin etiquette continues to ignite the most furious debates between neighbours Nosy Neighbours - some people have their eyes and ears at the ready to have a peek causing problems for others But it turns out it wasn't the mess that frustrated people the most - in fact, many were more offended that the man had chosen to paint his fence grey. Not only did someone describe it as a 'hellish grey fence', but alongside a puking emoji, one user sighed: 'And of all the A second questioned: 'Did you think you'd somehow be able to only paint one side without it bleeding through to the other side. Grey? Really? On a garden fence?' At the same time, another wondered: 'When will this terrible fashion for grey wood die out? My neighbour did the same.' Meanwhile, one person confessed: 'If this was my fence I would have you replace it. I would not want a grey fence that needs maintenance every two/three years.' Rules on fences and trees Fences: Height Restrictions: In most areas, fences in front gardens should not exceed one metre in height without planning permission. For rear gardens, the limit is generally two metres. Shared Fences: If a fence is shared with a neighbour, both parties are typically responsible for its maintenance and any costs associated with repairs or replacement. Building Regulations: Ensure that any new fence complies with local building regulations and does not obstruct visibility for drivers or pedestrians. Trees: Ownership: Trees located on your property are your responsibility, including any damage they may cause. Conversely, trees on a neighbour's property are their responsibility. Overhanging Branches: You are entitled to trim branches that overhang into your property, but only up to the boundary line. The cut branches should be offered back to the tree owner. Protected Trees: Some trees are protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs). Check with your local council before undertaking any work on a tree, as unauthorised work can result in fines. Roots: If tree roots from a neighbour's tree cause damage to your property, you have the right to remove the roots. However, it is advisable to discuss this with your neighbour first to avoid disputes. Always consult your local council or a legal adviser for specific regulations and advice. In response to the comments, the Reddit author later wrote: 'I made a mistake hence I wanna fix it to have a good relationship with my neighbour. '[The] neighbour doesn't want to paint his fence so I might have to cover the mess. 'Thanks for the help and I don't think I'm touching a brush anytime soon.'

Wild One: Hannie Day – Lucy In London

Friendship, forlorness, and the independent spirit embrace each other in Hannie Day's heartfelt new video for 'Lucy In London', achieving Wild One status this week with it's refined camcorder aesthetic and charming DIY ingenuity. Directed by Grace Pink, the music video was shot on a shoestring budget with the help of friends (including the famous Lucy herself!) and some of Grace's fellow RMIT media studies peers. 'I think we were all a little surprised at how profesh the whole thing turned out!' says Hannie. 'None of us were experts really so the process was kind of chaos. We shot a lot of it in an empty apartment four floors above Lucy's place so there was lots of squishing into the elevator with lamps and cameras and mirrors.' 'Although the day of the shoot was a bit of an unprepared mess, the editing process was super meticulous' says Grace. 'I spent weeks making drafts and sending different versions back and forth to Hannie. At this point I've listened to this song more times than I can count!' Shot on several different camera formats, including some vintage digital video, 'Lucy In London' is filled with a variety of offbeat vignettes. 'With the project I really just wanted to make something fun and almost a bit weird, with lots of cuts to B-roll and quirky transitions' explains Grace. 'We really didn't plan on using the camcorder much but it added such a lovely nostalgic tone to the video and was perfect for getting candid shots of us all hanging out - which I think adds to the ambience of genuine friendship that you can feel throughout the video!' '...it felt ecstatic watching the video back for the first time, realising we had made something truly impressive and beautiful together' recalls Hannie. 'At one point I tried to make the crew some lunch downstairs and forgot about it, only to return to completely inedible spaghetti. But honestly I think that is what made it so much fun. We were all fumbling through this process together.'

I was tired of my dull bathroom so I spruced it up with £4 B&Q bargains – people can't believe how ‘lush' the glow-up is

A THRIFTY woman has left people open-mouthed with her epic bathroom glow-up on a budget. With the costs soaring, millions of cash-strapped Brits are looking for inspiration to make their homes go from drab to fab without forking out thousands. 2 If you're one of them, you've come to the right place, as one DIY fan, Amy Elizabeth Carter, recently shared her jaw-dropping bathroom makeover. Amy took to the popular DIY On A Budget Official page where she proved there's no need to spend a fortune to give your home a brand new look. Before the epic transformation, the bathroom looked pretty plain and lacked any character, featuring a basic white bathtub, as well as what appeared to be light brown tile flooring. But rather than having professionals quote her eye-watering sums, Amy decided to take matters into her own hands - and the glow-up has already become a major hit on Facebook. The makeover, which cost her just £800, included chic light grey cerami c wall and floor tiles that go for just £4 for a sample at B&Q. The timeless design instantly enhanced the space with its soft grey tones and versatile style - and according to Amy, she did everything herself. During the gorgeous DIY makeover, the thrifty woman also attached a round LED mirror onto one of the walls - ideal for doing your make-up or taking a cheeky selfie. Meanwhile, the black fittings, such as the radiator, went perfect with the brand new shower screen which cost her a little under £180. Although Amy did pay an expert to colour-match the silicone, everything else was a DIY job - and you wouldn't be able to tell that by the photos. ''Bathroom on a budget,'' the Facebook user proudly wrote in the caption, as dozens flooded to comments. I live in a council house with no storage & made a dream dressing table for £21… it's great for those with limited space Close to 40 people shared their thoughts, as more than 100 gave the post a like.
