Exclusive: Sonakshi Sinha says romantic scenes are more challenging than action

Sonakshi Sinha has carved a niche for herself across a wide range of genres; from action-packed blockbusters to light-hearted romantic comedies. But the actor recently made a surprising revelation about what truly challenges her on screen. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Sonakshi shared that while action is physically demanding, it's the romantic scenes that make her the most DOING ROMANCE, ACTIONShe admitted, "I think action will always be the most challenging because it's physically very challenging and requires a lot out of you. Other than that, I am actually quite comfortable. What really daunts me and what I feel very conscious of doing is romance."Elaborating on her discomfort, she added, "I don't know, I just feel a bit weird romancing someone when they're not actually there. I get very conscious. That is something that is very, very challenging. I've been a part of some romantic films, romantic comedies, all of that, but mujhe bohot ajeeb lagta hai (I feel very weird) - and it's been like this since the beginning." Reflecting on her debut film, 'Dabangg', Sonakshi revealed that Salman Khan, her co-star, wasn't exactly helpful when he learned she felt awkward during romantic scenes. 'He used to make me even more conscious. Because unko jab pata chal jata hai na that you're uncomfortable with something, he'll do more chul,' she asked about reuniting with Salman Khan on screen, Sonakshi said, "I honestly don't know what's happening on that front. He'd be the best person to ask. 'Dabangg 3' was the last we did together - now you'll have to ask him when 'Dabangg 4' is happening!"ON FUTURE COLLABS, CO-STARSLooking ahead, Sonakshi is full of excitement about potential collaborations. Asked which actor she's manifesting to work with, she instantly said, 'Hrithik Roshan is someone who I would really love to work with. I think he's a fantastic actor, and I've really been a fan of his work for the longest time. So yeah, I would love to collaborate with him on something.'She also named Aamir Khan, praising his filmography. 'Aamir is someone who I would love to work with, too. I think the kind of films he makes are amazing. They have so much meaning, and they're so good.'Another name close to her heart is 'Mission Mangal' co-star Vidya Balan. 'And I really want to work with Vidya Balan again. I love working with her. She's fantastic. What positive energy all the time, to have around you. And what a fine actor. She's also one of my favourites,' Sonakshi added the work front, her upcoming film 'Nikita Roy', which also stars Paresh Rawal and is directed by her brother Kussh Sinha.
